Wade Garrett Claims That "Farming Is Nothing Extraordinary" (Let's Investigate)

Recommended Posts

Astounding the lengths some of you go to make jobs that require little thought into something grand.  So I assume you think being a farmer, plumber, warehouse worker, mechanic, electrician etc takes the same level of brain power as a doctor, lawyer, finance bro, businessman, scientist, etc?

Sorry boyo but I speak the truth.

Facts over feelz.

You're an actual dumba$$.

Plumbers and electricians make bank by the way. Especially ones that run their own business. But even a good tech has a very comfortable living.

Haha at the butt hurt from my honesty ITT.

But you guys are right, the best and brightest from every school fight to go into farming.  It's why the competition to get into master's and doctoral programs in farming is so bigly fierce...oh wait that's right, most famers likely never graduated high school.

But it's soooo complicated and challenging!!!   Just like the geniuses that go into the trades, their options are basically the trades, military, cops, firefighters, or EMTs.  Essentially jobs that require no education...

Facts not feelz boyos.  Don't get all butt hurt now.  It's not like I'm a rocket scientist...but I certainly ain't a farmer or tradie either...

lmfao

Wade, although he brags about being an executive, has posted how he hopes to retire with 2 million when he is 65, ten years from now.  And he is still in debt with his kids student loans.  By all accounts hes barely making it living the American dream.   Add in his heath problems, who knows if he makes it another 10 years, he is worse off than your average trades person.  Explains why he is bitter tho.

I always said, being debt free is the way to go. Wade and Tim and Gutternuts are all lost in life and claim "smarts" but have none of it. Hell, all the liberals on this site are perfect examples of what you don't want to be in life.

It's hard to understand how people actually turn out to be like them. Think like them. Just stupid.

"Trying hard at what?  Farming is nothing extraordinary.  It'd done across the world and doesn't take a genius as evidenced by farmers overwhelmingly voting for Trump.

The vast majority of advances in seeds and pesticides came from liberal scientist and engineers.  To dispute this is disingenuous.

But even with all that liberal help, red areas still only produce a meager percentage of our GDP.

Farmers use AI to identify pests, protect crops

....Farmers in the United Kingdom have started using artificial intelligence (AI) systems to help monitor their fields and protect them from dangerous creatures — such as animals and insects. ..."It’s pretty much like having a real human sitting here 24/7 and listening when we tell it to listen," developer Conrad Young said of his Chirrup system, which can identify bird species from recordings of chirps. ...The British-made program analyzes the "dawn chorus," or the early morning chirping that occurs when birds greet the sunrise. With each successive recording, the program is able to better identify all the birds in the area and help create a detailed database of the total biodiversity in the area....

.....The map also includes other types of animals, including insects — far more dangerous pests that also present an issue for farmers who aim to remain organic and want to avoid turning to pesticides to protect their crops....."They tell you what insects are about and obviously we are organic, so we don't use any insecticides, or sprays or anything like that," Peter Cheek, a farmer, told the BBC. "So if we have got those insects and the birds are eating them, they are also eating other bugs that are trying to damage the crops."

....The program presents a more unique method of crop protection than other similar efforts, such as the use of AI-powered programs to protect endangered animals in Africa from poaching through the use of cameras and more advanced computer vision....Another system in Africa aims to use AI to improve crop yields and help the continent handle environmental shocks, such as drought and climate change.

He'll claim that it's all thanks to liberals and that you've proved his point.  That, or he just won't respond because he's tired of looking like a fool.

If you took a successful, working farm and replace the farmer with any one of hundreds of millions of Americans they would not last one year.
