Are there any multiposition players this year

Recommended Posts

Each year it seems like there is one or 2 players that are listed as both. Are there any now or do you see any becoming one. I.E. a WR being converted to a TE or a TE being converted to a WR?

It will be interesting to see how Cordarelle Patterson ends up with Bijan and Allegier

I guess Taysom Hill too is always possible to be a QB

Antonio Gibson for the Commanders, he came in the NFL a hybrid RB/WR, I guess it's possible he gets pushed out wide

Deebo Samuel of course could end up in the backfield

all players who have fit this category in the past.

though Deebo lost significant value when his team brought in CMC.    a  stud RB really saps the value of the RB portion of any players value on that team.

I think Patterson has the same thing happen to him.  Bijan will take a whole lot of touches that previously went to him.

Gibson could be interesting.

Taysom has nice sleeper value in deeper leagues though his problem is he doesnt get enough play in any position to be more than a risky streaming option.

I would've thought the same about Deebo losing out to CMC. But based on a podcast I recently heard, it ain't so.

Deebo averaged the exact same number of carries, before and after CMC. Deebo's targets decreased, but only by an average of 1.5 targets per game. Deebo's yac last year was still off the charts and he remains one of the most electric players in the NFL.

Gibbs could be one, I read that he was working slot wr at times.

Maybe even Etienne, they do have Bigsby and E Johnson from the Browns, if I recall correctly they used in the slot during practice.

CMC isn't exactly known for his durability.

Deebo is the perfect back up for his role. Plus, he's gonna be set to spell him from time to time.

When you have two very versatile players like that, you never know what a creative OC or coach or somebody may come up with

True.  and love him or hate him, that is the type of coach they have.

I'm sure he will add a wrinkle or two to that offense to keep all his stars relevant.
