Thank you everyone

Laid my daddy to rest today. It was the absolute hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my entire life. Growing up, dad always told me he wanted bagpipes playing at his funeral. We are part Scottish but he also just loved bagpipes and wanted them for his funeral. Found 2 people down in Myrtle beach that I was able to hire for him. I know he would’ve be so happy. There were quite a bit of people there. The man was one of those guys everyone here would’ve loved. You guys really would’ve loved hanging out and talking with him cause the man could make you laugh. He could also cook which everyone who’s eaten his food could tell you just how amazing of a cook he was. I could keep going on and on about the man he was. He was my hero and the very first man I ever looked up to. Still do to this day. I’m trying to model myself after him. I’m thankful he was able to meet my son. Thank you all for your kind words and your support. No matter what, I want all of you to know I truly am thankful for everything. Even if we all don’t know each other close like that, if any of you EVER need anything, someone to talk to, wanting to vent, or just needing someone to grab a drink with don’t hesitate to ask. I’ll even make a special trip to fly out if you really need someone.

Again, thank you all. It really means the world to me and I really appreciate everything. You guys (and the few ladies we have) are great. I wish all of you health, wealth, and happiness. God bless every single one of you.

Sorry to hear about your pops but it seems you celebrated him in an incredible manner.

When I go I hope my son and daughter honor me as well as you honored your pops boyo.

Well done.

Glad you got the bagpipes for him, my dads request was Peace in The Valley and My Way be played at his viewing and funeral. He was a Elvis fan and I got that done for him. Sorry for your loss and my dad was my hero as well so understand. It will get easier as time goes by and just talk about the good times with him and the laughs as well you had with him. Spend more time with your kids and family. You Got this!

I'm soo sorry Stryker. Make sure you keep his legacy alive and always remember the best of times. I'll be saying a prayer for you and yours tonight.
