So Wifey Asks Me To Make Her A Sammich Today

Recommended Posts

I’m off today from greeting and catching shop lifters who are fawking stoopid. Anywho, new wifey asks me to make her lunch. Jewish Rye bread, Salami, Colby Cheese, Mayo, and Hot Mustard. Me: You bet sweets.   Sweetie: Take one of those pills around 7:30. I want to get off at eight. 🥕🤘😁

Back in college, my roommate went to the kitchen to make a sandwich and I asked him to make me one too and he said "ok".  Then when he got back no sandwich???  I asked what was up and he told me that he didn't say when he would make it.  Well he died 10 years ago and never made that sandwich!

Do you think he's in hell cause of that?

Just giving her what she wants. She’s on a strict diet and has lost a lot of weight. What makes her happy makes…

I would replace salami and colby with brunswager and provolone with all the others. Best deli sammiches I ever had in New York. Tomatoes also. I used to make these when I’d go fishing in Grand Isle on the beach for monster bull reds. Good sammiches.

You didn't use Helmann's Mayo did you Bunny ?

I use to until someone here suggested Dukes. I love it. Growing up I only got miracle whip, which is not mayonnaise technically.I preferred Blue Plate as it was local. Dukes is my go to making sammiches, potato salad, deviled eggs, tuna and chicken salad. Bra

I remember when you could get Dukes for a $1 at the dollar store but it got a following over the years and ain't cheap now. Helmann's is still my fav and go to but not now if it's GMO.

Yeah. It’s great fishing in October at Grand Isles and the Fouchon in what they call here, Red October.. You hit the beach in the morning and set a crab line. Three poles in the water with six strings attached with turkey legs. Dink a few and go out with a big hand held net. Slowly pull them up and net them. Set up the PVC pipes, inser poles and bait them.

Then cook steaks, have nookie, cookie head time, and enjoy the sunset and wait for the full moon to appear. Crazy Coonass Angie Dickerson loved those trips. A bull red per person and four smaller ones. Twenty trout per and three flounders. In the morning she wanted a red snapper and breakfast till we washed, rinsed, and repeat.

Yup. All I ever had was miracle whip. Didn't much care for it. So I eschewed mayonnaise all together in my 20s. Finally got the real stuff and now I can tolerate it.
