Oh he’s amazing, don’t get me wrong. Guess I just expected more from the bills against Zach freaking Wilson

The Bills did exactly what i'd expect them to do against Zach Wilson. Pressure him on almost every drop back, intercept a terrible pass, and give up zero touchdown passes (since I am counting his TD pass as a pass for Garrett Wilson to himself )

The Bills lost to the Jets defense, Dalvin and Breece who totaled over 200 yards, and a botched snap.

The rest of the Jets look solid. If you’re a NYJ fan would you rather have Wilson driving or a in his prime Mark Sanchez steering the boat this year? This reminds me of those Rex Ryan teams

It's a good comparison, and one i've been making to my Jets/Giants friends since last night. Yes, the Rodgers injury is more like Testaverde in 99. That team also had a solid defense, receivers, and run game (plus line).

Wilson under center makes this much more like the Rex era Jets. The defense could be better than those teams and the top end talent of Hall/Cook/Garrett is better, though Rex's Jets may have had more overall offensive depth and certainly had a better line. Wilson is also probably more physically talented than Sanchez ever was.

I think the biggest thing is that Rex was a defensive genius. I don't think Saleh can hold his clipboard. Neither was/is to be trusted with an offense.... from a fiery leader standpoint, i'd take Rex every time.
