BufordT 434 Posted November 3, 2023 Decent chance for production for those desperate at RB. Singletary should've taken over for Pierce before the ankle injury. We'll see what he does with the opportunity.

I might have to eat this crow, but Devin Singletary is the biggest Jag to ever play Rb. Not terrible, nothing special, just-a-guy. It's why the Bills didn't pick up his 5th year option. A plodding guy who doesn't juke or break tackles - couple yards and a cloud of dust. Now he has to step in behind one of the most banged-up o-lines in football, versus the Bucs with a decent rush defense. If he blow up I'm quitting football. weepaws 3,191 Posted November 3, 2023 Veta is due back for the Bucs, Singletary would be a big reach. But I do agree with the OP, Pierce has a 2.7 per rush avg his last 11 games. He’s not getting it done.

I would say he is a notch or two better than a "couple of yards and a cloud of dust" guy. He is averaging 4.6 ypc over his career plus he's above average catching the ball. The question is, what is he now? and can he do anything behind that offensive line? We shall see. Definitely worth a flier for those in need RB help.

LaChup 233 Posted November 4, 2023 I thought Singletary was too busy being the mayor of L.A.. Or maybe I was thinking Mike Singletary.
