BeenHereBefore 1,333 Posted February 22 The Dukes of Hazzard co-stars John Schneider and Tom Wopat met while taking a poop After Schneider was cast, the show needed to locate an actor who could complement Bo. Stage actor Wopat was flown in for a screen test; Schneider happened to be in the bathroom when Wopat walked in after him. The two began talking about music—Schneider had seen a guitar under the stall door—and found they had an easy camaraderie. After flushing, the two did a scene. Wopat was hired immediately. wiffleball 4,642 Posted February 23 Turns out, Boss Hogg was pretty damn badaxx. Sorrel Booke I think. Been a minute, but I'll look some stuff up.
wiffleball 4,642 Posted February 23 Booke was fluent in French, Latin, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, German, Greek and Italian. He said that he also “fussed" with a half-dozen other languages such as Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Dutch, Persian, Polish, and Swedish. Booke went to Columbia @ 16 and graduated Yale @19. Served in Korean war in Counter Intelligence. Really prolific actor on stage and screen. I was a big fan of Flash. And DD.
