I was told it was the far-right that was the REAL problem. 

"Far-Right" is used for anyone that isn't left of center.  Kind of like how "racist", "homophobic", and "bigot" are all used against them as well.  It's just another term that is used to shut down any opposing views - it doesn't actually mean far-right anymore.

So, what we've seen recently:

• UK - huge win for Labor.
• France - Macron and the left/center-right coalition held.
• Canada - the left one.
• Germany - again a win for the left & center-right.

And yesterday Brisbane time it was the left winning in Australia. As in Canada the conservatives had held a pretty solid lead through mid-late 2024.
