Agreed. They should've gotten it done much earlier. This is just ridiculous. The guy has never made a deep playoff run, let alone won a SB.

Yep. Once you saw Trevor Lawrence’s deal you knew Dak was getting $60m per.

The guy isn't worth betting the house on. I was kinda hoping they'd let him play out this last year. He would've been playing his ass off, auditioning for the rest of the league. If he couldn't get it done under those circumstances he'll never get it done. 

They just took a huge chunk of motivation off the table.

I think Dak is a high character guy who will give it 100% regardless. I just think at this point you’ve got to wonder whether some journeyman at $10m per and a rookie QB is a better value than $60m per for Dak.

They would've been able to make some moves in free agency with that mindset and I think it would've paid bigger dividends.

You could argue Joe Flacco has had a better career, although he got paid mightily once too (although this is Dak's second huge contract), however Flacco won the Super Bowl so he earned it.
