Not ignoring it. It’s ugly and awful and will create more drama. But it’s mostly for show while the pullback is not. 

As most of us liberals have said from the beginning: we don’t have a problem with deporting violent criminals. We don’t want them here either. We do have a problem with deporting hard working people whose only crime is the method they arrived here. You guys want that to happen; we don’t. So when Trump pulls back from that we are happy and relieved.

To be fair,  I can't complain.  TACO and his supporters are finally understanding how this thing works.  Good to see them swinging back to us in the Center on this. He does still look like a moron for trying to thread this needle in regards to increasing ICE in "liberal" cities as the whole notion is a hypocritical playing of politics with people.  That will eventually backfire on him too though.

Better yet: why not just allow anyone who hasn’t committed a violent felony to stay here and get a green card? Have them pay a fine for coming into the country illegally but let them stay. End this mass deportation nonsense and concentrate on deporting the bad guys. What is wrong with that?

If you have guests over and one is randomly stabbing people with a knife, and another one who wasn't invited to the party and is unwelcome but just sitting on a chair, in the mind of the liberals, you definitely need to treat them both in the same manner or nothing at all.

I would have no problem with that, maybe Democrats could run on that since that would have been a moderate ish stance, however the pendulum swung way too far so much so (and we have discussed illegals in the past so I think you know my stance) but it got so bad, I was like F it, get them all out

I support the Clinton/Obama policy on illegal immigration

I wouldnt say Green card however, visas yes, I think thats a fair middle ground, and ANY misdemeanor is immediate removal

Many times I’ve noticed that you and I get into the weeds of issues we are able to find some common ground. It’s only when we are discussing the broader strokes that we sharply disagree. Perhaps this indicates where most people in this country are at underneath the rhetoric, I’d like to think so anyhow.

sometimes, you have way more extreme views than I do, but I have always been moderate on abortion and illegals, problem is POLITICIANS, thats why I don't support any of them

the right uses immigration and the left uses abortion exactly the same, its a voting point, but they never actually plan on fixing it or codifying it, cause they lose a voting chunk

So the guy who wants to tout American jobs are being returned to Americans, wants to have a bench mark number of deportations a day, won’t deport the illegals who are the easiest to catch, who are all in one place, after talking to lobbyists and leaders from certain industries. Why is that

It'll take more time than he has in office to get rid of the millions of violent illegals that Biden let walk in to this country. I predict Trump can't get rid of all illegals. Does that make you feel better? But I am all in on him consistently trying to oust them.
