Opponent's team is devastated!

Recommended Posts

In my main league, I face my year-over-year toughest competition this week.

We start: 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, and 1 WRT (plus a K, DEF, and 5 IDPS).

He has AJ Brown and Dobbins on a bye. He's lost Adams, Rice, and Nabors this week and most likely A Richardson while Brian Robinson and McBride are iffy!

He's starting Dalton for AR, Downs and Jeudy at WR along with Metcalf and might have no TE unless he drops someone.

The devastation of injuries is real.

We’ve all got injuries and byes. I just got Love back after losing both him and Tua in a 2QB. Been rigging it with spit and Dalton and Lawrence (ugh), who I do like tomorrow, since I got no Tua and Dalton is at Chicago.
Monty on a bye, Mixon is a sissy mary, Warren hasn’t gotten his feet wet much. Fortunate to grab Tracy @ Seattle who just might be a better option than Dowdle  @ Pitts. Already shot my load with Bucky on TNF, who left a lot to be desired.

Kupp, Devonta left my high and dry, thank goodness for DK. Hoping for a Mooney type game from Jeudy. Shaheed could be a bust of breakout v KC. I think he gets behind his defender and gets me a TD.
Still waiting for Kincaid to breakout and tomorrow might be the day with no Shakir.

I think whining about injury’s is just silly, happens every season, both of teams have problems, I have players injured and on byes.  I’ll get through it.  It’s all good.

This sounds like my team.

My players on bye or injured

JK Dobbins

Brian Robinson Jr

Trey McBride - not sure what to do about this one

Fred Warner (although he probably plays)

Malik Nabers (added Wan'Dale Robinson)

Anthony Richardson (added Flacco, cut Russell Wilson) - starting Fields and Jordan Love (who was previously injured and out)

I have Jonathan Brooks too

Christian Watson (bench player, but still injured)

Hmmm, who was whining about (injury's)?

If you can't acknowledge that my opponent this week as an excessive amount (injury's), then that says what it does about you.

I acknowledge the fact that your opponent team has a problem, like I said , both of my teams have byes and injury’s, a lot of teams do, that means a lot of opponents teams have issues , it’s all good, you just walk.

its a trap game.

Downs I think is actually a good breakout candidate and likely has a better chance to produce with Flacco.   Jeudy is underrated.

all I'm saying is dont take this guy lightly.  hes picked up what looks to be some players who have some upside.  if the stars align, you could have a tougher matchup than you think.

but yeah, we all have injuries.  its how we respond to the injuries that tells the tale.

good luck

I've had to drop both Spears & Allgeier(Bijan insurance)to pick up Mattison & Ertz. Hock on IR, Engram still nursing his bagina. Rice on IR, Adams in limbo, Taylor out, Hurts on a bye. Work the wire, do your research & be quick on the trigger when news come out about players & injuries.
