I used to love listening to Art Bell. Coast to Coast has deteriorated badly since he left, last time I listened it was all political BS, which never used to be the case. RIP Art.

My dad was a huge art bell fan. He worked at GM for 35 years and would listen on his way home and then would tell us all the crazy conspiracy theories when he woke up the next day.

I used to listen to "SOMEWHERE IN TIME" when they replay an entire episode of Art Bell.  It's interesting to go back in time and hear the events and opinions as they were happening.  A lot of Bill Clinton to talk about in the 90's.  Good times!

Tons of commercials now too and one of the reasons why Art left before he died.

Weren't the reasons for his departure kind of cryptic? Like threats against his life or something, which is why he moved to the Philippines?

As an aside, I picked up a book he wrote at a used book place several years ago. Brought it home to find out it had been signed by Art. Doubt it's worth anything, but pretty damn cool as a fan.

Yea  was why but he did say commercials was a reason he wanted to leave the company as well. I bet that book sales for around $50 or more if it's in good condition. Cool find!
