I thought they should of drafted JJ McCarthy or Penix last year. If they did, they could of drafted Jeanty or Tet this season and well on their way to a rebuild.n

Most thought the same.  But the Gmen didn’t.

Giants are good with having an all-pro WR on the squad. You can disagree, but they wouldn't change the pick...

I love Nabers but what was the point? It's another year and still no franchise QB. And they won't be in position to draft one next season either. Nabers will be up for an extension before they're even competitive in the NFC East. He'll want out of that craphole just like Saquon did.

Giants are likely to draft a QB next month.

to properly develop  a young QB you need at least have one good WR (preferably two)  and a solid line to play behind.   you can get by with only one good WR if you have a reasonable ground game.

this time last year they had neither.   They had just let go of Sequon, they had a line that (other than LT) was poor.   and they had no real good WR.   drafting a QB likely would have ended up the same way as the danny dimes fiasco.   Poor line, and below average WR for his whole tenure as a QB.   At least now if they draft a QB at least they will have somebody to throw the ball to.

still I think the right move is to wait one more year and fill the holes on the O line.    but at least if they draft someone today that person will have a true #1 WR to throw the ball to.

they might be able to get away with drafting a guard in round 2.   Probably get one of the top 2 or 3 on the board at that point in the draft.   Line will still be subpar but not as bad as last year.

You need a GM who can draft and a coach who can develop young players. The Giants can't do either.

I promise you that the Giants will ruin Nabers just like they ruined Barkley and every other player that's run through that organization.

Right, just like they ruined LT, Banks, Carson, Bavaro, Joe Morris, Phil Simms, Eli, Hakeem Knicks, Victor Cruz, Shockey, not to mention current Giant All-Pros Dexter Lawrence and Andrew Thomas. Good Call,🤡...

well, Nabers looks like hes already fine.

yeah, player development is certainly part GM and part coach but the GM needs to take some responsibility.     I'd say at this point they have struggled to get their young O linemen to play consistently well enough.      this has contributed to other issues elsewhere in the offense.

I myself am not a Milroe guy.  Just as I wasnt a Richardson guy.  At least Milroe has more experience.

Milroe is the worst QB in the class in terms of on target throws 10 yards or closer.  And by margin.  Only Richardson had a worse on target % of those throws of any QBs drafted in last 3 years.

Only 17 players were invited to the draft this year... Jalen Milroe was one of them.

There's speculation some team out there is strongly interested in Milroe. I've heard Steelers or possibly Rams... ? Whoever it is, it sounds like he might go higher than most anticipate.

Heard that too.  He has a chance to go first round.  Ive seen Sanders linked to Pitt if he falls.

He could be good who knows.  I just think some teams fall in love with the upside, which I can understand.  But to me he will have to improve a lot as a passer before he starts a game.   Similar to Richardson but not nearly as big.

Some of these guys can hit if they take to coaching and improve little by little.  He certainly has other tools.

I myself dont see it.  And I dont love the fit in Pitt.  They have 2 alpha WRs who want the ball downfield.   Pitt is traditionally a running team.   They seem to lack any creativeness year in and year out.   But you have to feed the WR you just paid for and Pickens who is talented but wants thr ball as well.  Milroe cant get thrm their balls anytime soon.

Who knows which direction PIT goes with Qb, but regardless I don't see much upside with either Metcalf or Pickens.... between the weak Qb play, rushing focus, and now with two of them in the fold.

Might work football wise, but fantasy wise - where's the beef?

I was out on Milroe till I saw an interview with him. He was by far the most impressive of all the prospects in that regard. Mature, thoughtful, and serious. I have no doubt he will do the work. I hope it pays off for him...

Steelers need a rb in this upcoming draft, they need to replace Harris.

Kaleb Johnson will be a Steeler. The perfect player and perfect fit for them.

Steelers don't have a second round pick. Doubt Johnson goes at 21, and unlikely he lasts till pick 83...

good observation.   I agree.  barring a trade up (or going off the board in round 1) I dont see it happening.

but stranger things have happened.   If they like him enough, I suppose all options are on the table.

If Hampton is gone they'll trade back, pick up a couple picks and get Johnson. That's my prediction. He's going to be a Steeler before Saturday

It kills me to say it but the Giants had the best draft. Daboll bought himself another year at least.

If Dart isn'r ready, I just hope the Giants realize that Wilson is not the answer - at best he'll get the Giants to an unexciting 8-9.  I'd much rather see them turn the reigns over to Jameis - he might be able to get them over .500 if he can cut down on the turnovers.  If not, it would still be fun to see him slinging the ball to Nabers while the Giants try to play catch-up in a lot of games..

He's definitely not, he's very raw. If the Giants are smart they'll just redshirt him this year. There's absolutely no reason why they should play him this year.
