I took advantage of Dumbo’s genius trade war. I guessed right this time

Lowered cost basis of some of my favs and added a few hundred shares into each. 

Like I said a couple weeks back - the best case outcome was for the Orange One to cave in, nibble around the edges of these deals and claim some bogus yuge victory, and go back to what we had before. Lookey here that seems to be happening and it’s working out nicely. NO JINX, NO WHAMMIES

America is a better place since Trump became president. He,'s killing it across the board. Closed borders, better trade deals, ousting illegals, forming peace deals in the shlthole middle east. This is exactly what has happened so far. The best case scenario now is this all fades away just before the next self-imposed made up deadline. Donald can even say he won and is grand illustrious Poobah of international trade and give himself a big hat and ribbon. IDGAF just wrap it up with little damage.

Trump has said, as far back as the 80's and 90's, that the US is being targeted unfairly in regards to import taxing, vs the world.  It was a campaign agenda since 2021.  So... it's not like what he said he was going to do was not unknown.  During the campaign, he even said that the early stages would be tough.  He's getting these other countries to the table to make trade fair/equal, and THAT's what is happening.  He's not backing off.

Receipts There were quite a few fellow savvy Geeks buying it seems. Tons of retail investors betting the same way. Always nice to get paid off on a bet so fast. 

Never doubt MSFT, AAPL, and GOOG (well I’m watching you GOOG)! Tons of runway left for all these. Still quite a bit of all time highs.

He says all kinds of shlt just depends the audience. He also wanted the markets to crash before he won, he said the markets would tank if he didn’t win in 2020, or in 2024.

I’ll say it again. Best case is get something, anything that he wants to call a yuge victory. Announce just before whatever the latest deadline is now (they change all the time so not sure) and then hope we don’t go into recession.

I got 94 shares of NVDA at $106. Watched it go down to $95, only to see it hit $130 again today. Patience.

It’s still way down so get in there. I’m not a fan of Elon and his DOGE bullshit or his weirdo vibes in general (shocker) but I separate that from making cash! Still prolly won’t buy any as I don’t believe a word he says about his products but he’s tough to bet against despite being an asshat
