ICE arrests over 200 illegal aliens in New York City's 'most crime-infested neighborhoods'

Recommended Posts

More winning.

ICE and several federal law enforcement agencies arrested over 200 illegal aliens in an "enhanced immigration enforcement operation" in the "most crime-infested neighborhoods" in and around New York City in just one week this month.

According to a statement by ICE released on Wednesday, 206 illegal immigrants, the majority of whom have "egregious criminal histories to include manslaughter, rape, assault, drug trafficking and sex assault against minors," were apprehended as part of the operation.

The operation took place in New York City and throughout Long Island and the Lower Hudson Valley region between April 6-12.

According to the ICE statement, the agency and partners targeted "egregious criminal alien offenders," including transnational criminal organizations like the recently designated international terrorist organizations MS-13 and Tren de Aragua as well as the violent Sureños and 18th Street gangs.

Pity the poor Surenos.  At one time they were getting their share of press, but with Tren de Aragua and MS-13 dominating headlines they have lost nearly all prestige.

Que lastima.  Pobrecitos.

If one is looking for criminals, the most crime infested neighborhoods would be the place to go.

Mmm, can’t call congress criminals, they are supported by the American voter, but government should be considered armed and dangerous.

Yeah, I wonder why ICE would focus on illegals.  Damn now I'm gonna be wondering about that all day!!!!

I don't think they are actually. IMO they're going at show arrests in city centers. It pleases maga and makes a demonstration of dominance on Dem officials. I don't think this will affect crime or deportation or removal numbers.

I'm getting a feeling they're interested in quotas. That's why we're getting these stories of people pulled over in cars without warrants or probable cause, Americans arrested, normal foreign travelers detained, the "administrative errors" with the boxcar style transport to El Salvador. They don't care who they're grabbing, they're just providing numbers to higher ups. Now doubt "administrative errors" will occur in this batch also.

Your comment was about why an immigration enforcement action carried out by ICE and other Federal Agencies focused on illegals and not domestic criminals.  Don't try to move the goalposts now.

Maybe I misunderstood your point. My OP was agreeing that yeah looking for criminals in a crime infested neighborhood makes sense, & I further pointed out that there doesn’t seem to be a general push to clean up the neighborhood.

Amuses you?  so suggestions for rounding up the natural born criminals that are being left alone?  Maybe use genealogy?

What do you have in mind?

Sure. Increase funding to the NYPD & NYC AG, add manpower, & increase prosecutions by several fold via coordinated FBI/ATF raids & EDNY federal RICO prosecutions.

This Saints and Dome guy is filled with brilliant and original ideas.  He should be making policy somewhere.  He's thinking of things that no one would think of.  4D Policy maker here.
