Wouldn't doubt it and the refs fixed games before and a cool movie about it! I do believe every sport is fixed somewhat cause money is involved. Night and hope ya have a good sleep!

this is based off the Wolves demolishing the Thunder in game 3? with the idea that the series needs to go 6-7 games? 

Of course the NBA is rigged, look no further than the draft lottery and the amount of times a star player has been traded and the team trading them landed the #1 pick. In recent history before the Luka/Dallas #1 pick you had AD being traded to LA and New Orleans landing the #1, Kevin Love being traded to Cleveland and Minnesota landing the #1, Lebron leaving Cleveland and Cleveland landing the #1..

If it were completely rigged, would the western conference finals be OKC and Minny? I suppose SGA and Edwards is a marquee matchup but the markets are not exactly thrilling. Knicks/Pacers is the much more interesting series.

The wolves lose game 1 by 26 points, game 2 by 15, then beat the thunder by 42 points in game 3.

make or miss game sometimes, and there is no way the players are rigging anything. the draft and trades are another story. could be shenanigans there.

Refs, too. SGA getting bullshit foul calls vs not getting them changes how the defense can play.

You guys ever read the art of war?  There is one tenet that always stuck with me.  Sun Tzu said in battle you should avoid cutting off all avenues of retreat against an enemy.  The point being that a soldier faced with fighting hard or dying will fight hard, but if a soldier knows there is an escape, he will always consider that and won't fight as hard. 

It comes up a lot in life, and in sports especially.  When a team is up 2-0 or 3-0 they have a built in retreat essentially because they know they can lose that next game and still be favorites to win the series.  You'll notice the team that's down in a series like that usually have inflated odds with the bookies.  

It's wrong to think that players are robots and play the same every game.  They have emotion and motivation, and at that level, one team playing 3% worse and another playing 3% better can mean huge swings in results.

And that's why you see teams blow out a team two nights and get blown out a third.  It's not necessarily rigged.  The players motivation and of course adjustments can swing games.

That being said, I have no doubt there are crooked refs.  It would be suicide to try and rig a playoff game though.  Too much scrutiny.  You save the fixing games for some random Tuesday in January between teams no one watches.

For sure. I hated the bs calls he was getting. liked ant tossing the ball at him and then jayden pushing him down. but really they blitzed him in game 3, so he rarely had a good chance to pull that crap on his drives.
