Confidence is at a new low in Indianapolis Colts' field general Anthony Richardson

Flacco is going to make for a good streamer.

Is Riley Leonard worth drafting in a 2 QB start keeper league? Maybe, last pick and keep him next year?

If it's a deep bench then yeah, why not. I did the same with Spencer Rattler last year and got a few starts out of him. It cost nothing to draft him.

Superflex Dynasty is a different animal, QBs are currency, get as many as you can.

Another day, another Week 1 starting quarterback has been named.

According to NFL Media, Daniel Jones has gotten the nod over Anthony Richardson.

It’s a stunning move, given the investment the Colts made just two years ago in Richardson. He was the fourth overall pick in the 2023 draft.

I don’t think it’s stunning, I thought it was going to be an easy decision.

Does this make Pittman playable as a WR3 with WR2 potential?  He was very solid before some injuries and bad QB play.

I think it improves him a little.  Dimes isn’t great, but he’s better than Richardson.

Based on my extensive experience watching Daniel Jones, I would boost Pittman and Tyler Warren, and downgrade Alec Pierce…

Not shocked.  But what on earth are the Colts doing?  Some franchises just have no clue.  Not saying AR should start nessesarily.  But they draft him high as a guy who hardly played many games in college.  As raw as they come.  They start him thrn bench him?  He turned 23 three months ago.  Thats totally ass backwards.  I was not a fan of AR coming out and thought it was a dumb pick.  But do they not realize he was raw as hell?

I know teams are playing to win games and fill seats.   But at this point you might as well just start him.  Dan Jones isnt taking you anywhere.

Horrible draft pick, losing his job to dimes, just makes it even worse.   I wonder what team Richardson will end up with as a wr.

Richardson is the epitome of a combine mirage. He can pass all the physical tests but when it comes down to showing football instincts he has none. “Potential” clouds better judgement when a QB has only 1 season of college starter experience.

There are many cases of QBs struggling with their 1st team & then finding a better situational fit later. Levels of success vary, but it’s not unusual. Stan Humphries, Rich Gannon, Drew Brees, Geno Smith, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold all found success later on with coaches & systems that they found comfortable. (1st 3 even made it to the SB & 1 is a HOFr) Not expecting Jones to throw for 4000 yds, but he’s definitely better than Richardson as of today

Completely agree.

I think it's pretty obvious that we knew Jones was the starter the day he signed.

I came across this bit of info today. I know this is a little outdated with the current state of football, but this goes along with my previous post about Richardson & the combine.
Bill Parcells had rules about drafting QBs (obviously he’d have to tweak them a little now)

1)  Must be a graduated Senior

2) 3 yr starter

3) started at least 30 games & won at least 23

4) 2-1 TD-INT ratio

5) completed 60% of passes

The combine is great for a job interview & maybe tie-breaking info. But nothing beats experience & game film, especially for a QB. The prime examples in today’s NFL are Richardson vs Purdy. Just found it interesting 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not sure how a dude who has never taken a regular season NFL snap can be considered to have a floor.

JJ has a floor, Anthony Richardson doesn't even have that now.

I'm still loving JJ for dynasty. It's over for AR.
