She’s taller than me lol.  I’ll admit it’s an odd comment because Gaines isn’t particularly tall, but maybe because Biles is so short she actually thinks someone that’s 5’5 is a giant.   But people like @TBayXXXVII calling that “body shaming” and having no issue with anything Gaines says is pretty hilarious

Gaines said Biles was body shaming.  See, again, I took what Gaines ACTUALLY SAID, instead of claiming what she meant.  I simply pointed out that you're on the wrong side of who the bigot is.  The fact that you don't realize it,  is a sign that you have an agenda and facts don't matter, or you're not smart enough to understand it.

If you're shorter than Gaines, your Napoleon Complex makes sense now.

You claimed she was talking about locker rooms.  Except she wasn’t.  She may have added a locker room comment later because she was getting backlash even from her own fans for bringing Larry Nassar into it, but she made multiple posts before saying anything about locker rooms.

I’ll recap it for you one more time since you’re a little slow.  Here was the initial post that Biles responded to from Gaines, quoting a photo of a high school softball team and saying “comments off lol.  To be expected when your best player is a boy.”  Nothing about locker rooms:

https://x.com/Riley_Gaines_/status/1931057465887728023

Then Biles responded.  And worth noting that she did not even express support for males playing women’s sports.

Gaines then screenshotted that response and put it side by side with her testimony against Larry Nassar, comparing Biles’s responses to “predatory men”:

https://x.com/Riley_Gaines_/status/1931204585927979219

Still nothing about locker rooms.  Gaines then even added a comment under that about “protecting abusive men,” but still nothing about locker rooms.

In summary, this conversation started with a picture of a high school softball team.  Ultimately Riley Gaines compared Simone Biles speaking out against sexual abuse to Simone Biles speaking out in defense of a high schooler.  You can deny it if you want, but that’s what happened.

You choose to see what you want to see because it fits your agenda.  Biles cried in front of the world about Nassar... a bunch of girls did.  Rightfully so, the dude was a scumbag.  Biles is coming from a standpoint having a full understanding of what it would be like for a woman to be naked in front of a man that wasn't of her choosing. Gaines is showing the picture to let Biles know that all of those REAL girls, were being forced to change in front of boys, without their permission and being forced to accept it.  It's not about being on the field with them.  It's about the locker/changing room.  As I pointed out to you, how Gaines claimed that being forced to change in the same locker room as Thomas, that you decided to dismiss (my guess is that it proves your agenda wrong).  Gaines never once hinted at or said that the actual competition was like sexual abuse.  The fact that you pretend that this is her stance, is just proof that your agenda is more important than facts.  Biles is the bigot here, not Gaines.

Honestly, I have no idea why Biles is taking this route, it makes no sense.  She actually was a victim.  She even has the faux victimhood of being black.  Why would she want to actively choose the losing side against women's rights (of all things), the boast a bigger victim status?  My guess is that she's trying to get enough credit points for life after gymnastics.  It's funny how we now see her following the Rapinoe model of championing the cause for men in women's sports AFTER their career's are over.  🤣

Probably.  She has to want some post gymnastic career where she can be in the spotlight (odd that it was the spotlight that she needed a mental health break from).  Why be so pompous about a losing argument?  Then again, Hauck does that a lot here and he's not even getting paid (that we know of  🤔).

The post Biles responded to said nothing about locker rooms.

The post Gaines responded to Biles with said nothing about locker rooms.

You’re just making sh1t up, and trying to back it up with year and a half old articles for some reason.

Honestly I feel pretty confident in saying that even Gaines’ biggest issue with competing aging biological males anyway is the actual competing, not locker rooms (rightfully so).  Are you saying if trans kids were provided separate locker rooms but still allowed to compete against girls, Gaines (and apparently you) would be okay with it?

You're the one pretending that Gaines' stance is that sexual abuse happens on the field of play.

Gaines' actual stance is that men in locker rooms are akin to sexual abuse.

Biles thinks men should be allowed in women's sports.

Gaines think only women should be in women's sports.

Biles, while fighting a losing argument, called Gaines a man... even though she's perfectly normal for a woman.

You called Gaines a bigot when it's actually Biles.

Neither Gaines or I, think men should be playing in women's sports, period, so the locker room is a moot point.  Nice straw man in your deflection in the losing battle (like Biles).  YOU are the one who called Gaines a bigot and claimed her argument was that she compared actual play to sexual abuse.  Again, another deflection.  You should stop while you're behind.  You've been wrong about everything on this topic.

Lol there you go making sh1t up again.

I never said “Gaines says sexual abuse happens on the field of play.”  I said she COMPARED girls competing against boys to sexual abuse.  Which she did.  Because the original post that got Biles to respond was simply about competing.  I know @jerryskids asked to see her actual post, curious if he agrees that she compared sexual abuse to competing against boys.

Also, Biles never even said she thinks boys should be allowed in women’s sports! She was just upset with Gaines picking on high school kids.

You’re the one that said “it’s not about being on the field with them.”  Obviously it is, as it should be.  I was just pointing out your stupidity.  But go ahead and keep showing it if you’d like.

I’ll chalk @jerryskids up as acknowledging that Gaines was comparing sexual abuse to competing against a boy.  Otherwise he probably would have been in here much sooner to try to claim I was playing semantics or something.

But now that I’ve called him out he’ll probably claim I want boys in girls sports and call me “center-right” sarcastically

You’re a fraud.

Ok, you're acting like a 10 year old little b!tch, so I'll treat you like one.  Fine.

Ok little b!tch, here it is, wrapped up in a little bow.

  • YOU claimed that Gaines point was that girls/women, being forced to play against boys (hence, on the field), was akin to sexual abuse (heaven forbid I misquoted you, while the point still remained the same).  YOUR assessment was based on a tweet that Gaines posted of a group picture of the girls softball team... it wasn't a quote.  So, it was what YOU think, was the point she was making.
    • I gave you an article stating what Gaines' argument on this topic has been... and it's never changed.  It's about girls/women, being forced by the school/government/governing bodies, to be naked (showers), in front of naked men, being akin to sexual abuse.  So, even though I proved you wrong... AND Gaines herself proved you wrong in that Fox show you noted, you still haven't admitted you were wrong.
  • YOU claimed that Gaines was a bigot.  Gaines has NEVER ONCE said that trans people should be ignored, she only said that they don't belong in women's sports.  Now, I do believe she has said that they should have their own category, but I don't recall.  I do KNOW that she never said to ignore them.

So, there really is no reason for Biles to call out Gaines, at all, unless Biles is being the bigot.  Gaines says men don't belong in women's sports.  If Biles is ok with that, then I'm not surprised that is her stance, now that it doesn't directly affect her anymore (see Megan Rapinoe).  If she doesn't, then she agrees with Gaines.  So, why call her out?  I'll tell you why, it's because she, like you in this thread, is being a little b!tch, and wants attention.  Her objective is greed, ego, and vanity... to stay important for some post-gymnastics career.  Again, odd that's her objective considering that's why she needed a "mental health" break during the Olympics.  Yours seems to be a Napoleon Complex.

She took the "L" because she knows she was wrong about the personal attacks towards Gaines and that she actually doesn't disagree with Gaines about boys/men not belonging in girls/women's sports.  She apologized because she knows that the vast majority of the country agrees with Gaines.  It's her attempt to pretend to stand up against conservative beliefs and come off as being morally superior.  YOU are a fool for falling for it.

Another day, another morning waking up to Tim calling me out looking for his big internet win on something.  BTW, you forgot to say I'd call you a yip yip dog, which you clearly are here.  Again.

I went back and read your link, and I decided I didn't know the back story or history to make a determination, so I didn't comment.  All I did was ask what she said, because there seemed to be some question based on the posts of others.

Here's a pro tip, Tim.  If your takeaway from this situation is that Riley Gaines is the bad guy in this whole boys in girls sports topic, and not that Biles is a raging kvnt about it, you aren't center-right.  I don't expect you to get it, because you never seem to.

Sounds like you agree but you were afraid to admit it.  BTW I already provided the backstory, but I’ll repeat it for you.

1. Gaines commented on a photo of a high school softball team saying “lol, comments off, to be expected when your best player is a boy.”

2. Biles took issue with that and responded.

3. Gaines screenshotted Biles’ response and put it side by side with Biles testifying against Larry Nassar and COMPARED (if @TBayXXXVII wants to call that “akin to,” whatever) her responses to what she called “predatory men.”

Riley Gaines compared sexual abuse to competing against a boy.  Yet Biles was the only one that apologized.  In this “feud” between Biles and Gaines, yes Riley Gaines is the bad guy.

Another way Gaines is bigoted is her insistence on calling trans girls “he.”   You don’t even have to say “she,” just use their name, even only their last name.   Insisting on saying “he” is just being a dbag because you feel like it.

And if the response is “no one should have to participate in their mental illness,” then it’s acknowledging that this “cause” isn’t just about sports.

Her entire point is about biological men competing in women's sports.  Why would she NOT call them "he"?  Does it help her cause to obfuscate their biology?  :dunno:
