If this was a major championship, I think he would be making these putts.  This is different pressure and I think the Euros care more about winning. Tiger’s RC record was ass too.

You didn't miss much.

I got to see Bryson gack his drive, and JT yip the putt, on their last hole in the morning.  Also followed it occasionally on my phone.  I might get to see some tomorrow, and hopefully the USA will get their shiot together.

Not Rome but in Italy.  And not Long Island but in upstate NY.  I think the jinx is me going so close but not attending the tourney.  I told my wife we might be going over to Ireland in 2027 (also close to my 60th birthday).  She wouldn't generally want to watch golf, but she said she can put on cute USA gear and root for the good guys.

The WM Phoenix Open is back on the EdEx schedule. We will be able to see if you jinx your own team next season.

Pretty much sums it up.  I felt the  “27-15” thing was bad karma given some of our recent performances.    The Euros have this thing figured out. We need Fatty Reed back out there.

I may play golf after all. I’m not going to sit around and watch these Euro f@gs drain 25 footers all day.

Yeah I dont get it.  Keegs would have been much better at playing.  Hed be better than half the USA team.  I said it before, why are we picking a captain that very realistically had a chance to make the team?  Sure he could have chose to play but why even have to make that decision?  Any other old guy could do it with 25 co captians they have.

Thr odds on this were hilarious.   On paper Euros had thr better squad hands down and have won 8 of last 11.  I bet Euros but wish I put more on them as it was clearly mispriced.

Home field does seem.to matter.  But Euros are only side that does it once in a while.  I mean other than the crowd (seems to be plenty of Euro fans out there as well) they all live in the States and spend all year over here.

USAs captain would be a top 3 player on their side.  Thats how bad their roster is.  Morikawa was ass this year.  Xander sure still good but meh for a top player.  Cantlay?  JT is a top player?  Jj Spaun was the 2nd in Ryder pts this year.  Meanwhile the Euros have a very similar team to what they won with 2 years ago.  With their top players actually playing good golf.

The Euro thing has caught up.  USA used to just have better players.  That isnt the case anymore.  When they can go several down their list and pluck Bobby Mac or HOV or Hatton.  You take a few steps down USAs list and its Colin Morikawa who blew chunks this year.  Harris English??

It does.  But USA -170?  Euros with a better roster...give USA thr home field built into the odds and ok USA -120 sound right.  -170?  Euros have won 8 of last 11 and their roster has only improved  over the years while Amerixan top players like JT Morikawa Xander Cantlay have went backwards.  A guy like Speef doesnt even make the team now.  The rosters have went in opposite directions.

We will see Euros win more often on the road. (they are the side thats done it sometimes in first place)  Because their roster of players have caught up and surpassed anything USA can field now.

Cam Young showed up for the week.

5 months ago people would have laughed at idea he would be on the team.  Now all of a sudden he is their best guy.  Thats how bad their roster is.

Cam has been red hot and is from the area, is great to see him lighting it up so far.

Looking at the matchups the ones that look bad on paper for US are Rahm/Hatton and Rory/Fleetwood. Scheffler getting shut out is wild.

Ben Griffin on the bench for both Saturday sessions.

Morikawa/English for a 2nd time after getting trounced.

I hope the worst possible things happen to Keegan Bradley.

I know patweiser hates Scottie, but I like him. Just saw a stat that in 66 holes over the last 2 days, his opponents were 32 under par. 36 of those holes he had Rusty Trombone Henley hitting half the shots. He will get the career slam next year.

As embarrassing as the team has been, even more disappointing is the NYC fans. Way over the top even for a RC
