20 Year 'Bell Cow' Flashback 2005

After 2 years of prodding, my workmates finally convinced me to play FF in 2005. 

My draft was pretty poor, although I did grab Clinton Portis & learned to work the waiver wire & recovered to finish 3rd

I was hooked.

back then, there was less decimal scoring.  i used to try to balance a plodder with a dual threat that could break the long ones (thomas, dunn, faulk, fragile freddie, etc)

I remember when Clinton Portis injured his shoulder in a preseason game, forget who they were playing. He said I'm good to play opening day, The coach think it was Joe Gibbs said he's not playing until he can bench 275lbs. Clinton said I guess I'm never playing because I never could benched 275lbs.

Larry Johnson's numbers are impressive given that he was essentially the back-up to Priest Holmes through week 8 that season.
