Chefs lost to the Titans?

There's a lot going against the team.  Chris Jones isn't what he used to be, neither is Kelce.  The offensive line has dealt with injuries all season and hasn't performed well, leaving Mahomes little time to settle in the pocket and has influenced playcalling.  There really isn't much of a running game, nothing to make opponents focus on stopping the run and therefore they can focus on limiting Mahomes.  The secondary hasn't played well, either.

Then heading into next year, Mahomes likely won't be ready to start the season, and now it appears Minshew won't be either.  They are way over the cap, so something will have to be done with Chris Jones, Kelce and other contracts.  I do like how they actually might get a decent draft position which is something we haven't had for half a decade, so that's nice.  But if there's anything to have faith in, it's how this front office has adjusted and kept the team competitive.  It shouldn't be long before they are back to where they need to be.

paying a QB 50+ million doesn’t help. I know it’s inevitable, but it just doesn’t help.

That's what rusty paid to stay at an airbnb out of downtown.   Me, jetdoc, and dave spent about $250 a night so we could party and not have to drive or Uber :headbanger:

Apparently Chiefs are putting new Stadium in thr state of Kansas

An announcement will be made this week about the state of Kansas making an offer to put the stadium there.   Nothing finalized but sounding like it's possible.   Missouri’s proposal is to completely renovate and update arrowhead.

Lambeau will be the last one standing here pretty soon.

oh, ffs.  You wish.

Oh, it’s over. Said the same thing with Dallas, Buffalo, San Francisco, Detroit. Second you pay that quarterback you certainly don’t have enough money to pay anybody that can tackle. Chief got old really fast. Combine that with some teams that are pretty good with qbs under a rookie contract still? Gonna be an uphill battle.

Lol 🤣 …. The guy whose numbers have gone down every year since 2022? Oh no I’m sure his 26 touchdowns a year is terrifying people.
And Kelce is absolutely barbecue chicken at this point his career.

They will be OK, but there’s just a lot younger teams that currently constructed are much much better positions even in their own division.

Every team, except the Raiders is arguably better next season going in in their own division

There were a lot of QBs putting up a lot better numbers than Brady when he was winning Championships as well :dunno:

Sure, but that’s not the way Mahomes plays. Brady was not some massive down the field threat. And those defenses were absolutely elite. That’s just not the way kc is anymore.
Can they get some dudes? Sure. But as constructed is the third best team in the AFC West next year
