Ditkanate 0 Posted August 4, 2003 As for my pick, i felt the QB crop would become mighty mighty thin by the time it was time for me to fraft again so i grabbed my backup now. Ramsey could pan out fairly well this year..... or be cut by week 3. Who knows.

windycityguy 1 Posted August 4, 2003 The Unknown Soldier: Ditkanate: Kicker run! Kicker run!!!! Did you read my mind or see the post I deleted a couple minutes ago? I saw it and I always wait till the very end to get a K and Def. But I have never been in a 16 teamer before and figured with the crap left couldn't hurt to lock in as many points from my starters as possable.

But in this leage you have to have about 18 running backs on your squad just in case one has the chance to score on a bye week. Of course, I'm an idiot and forgot to check the bye weeks before I picked up my 3rd back. Looks like I'll be starting a practice squad player week 6... I have NEVER seen anyone make worse choices IN EVERY SINGLE ROUND. A true feat of incompetence.

Bitter Naval Frizz 0 Posted August 4, 2003 When the he// do I get to pick again? I waited 6 freeking days to make my 9th and 10th rd picks. I'm not going to sleep until I pick again dammit. Hopefully my lack of sleep will not cause me to make Buffington-like selections. frown

Yeah, sound decision on your part selecting a QB after taking the RB and back-up from the same underacheiving team. code: I hate my team

Ditkanate 0 Posted August 5, 2003 I like the McCardell pick and the Fiedler pick. McCardell's 2nd year in the TB system, and 2nd year w/ Brad, i think he improves over last year. Fiedler was a stud last year until he got hurt. Can't believe some of the absolute crap QB's that you guys took ahead of him. (ie. patrick ramsey)

I think I got quality enough getting him this late. I like McCardell too. He was on my short list this late.
