Thank goodness someone straightened it all out for us. The rest of us just got a hold of the wrong info.

I always find it funny how there is a "well actually, the way it REALLY" happened with every story. Then the next guy posts his links to contradict that story, and then another guy, another link and so on. All claiming "Well actually...this is how it went"

 

Or...everyone has a story how "well, no one knows this....but this is how it really happened" .

 

I spoke to a handful of National Guard members from here. And I saw the news. And I see how they act. Those are my "facts".

 

And as far as "stereotyping" ....why is there not a stereotype that claims "White women are the most likely demographic to commit cold blooded, violent murder and rape"

 

Or "Amish are lazy fockers that sit around and drink while listening to rap music"

 

There is a reason there isn't a stereotype for those groups.

Some pretty interesting comments here so far. Quite a bit of ignorance and some either blatent trolling or racism, but meh, to each his own.

 

So much was misrepresented by the media. It wasn't the dirty Indians wrecked that site. It was off the reservation and 95% filthy focking white hippies that came and made it their squat. Those are the focks that ruined that place in the name of the natives.

 

Its not advertised, but the tribe actually passed a resolution asking the feds to help get rid of the whole thing.

 

I can't tell you guys most of it, but give me 7y,7mo and I'll tell you anything you want to know.

You were the main one I wanted to hear from. I know nothing about Native American matters, as Andy Jackson sent ours away centuries ago.

 

I just find the whole thing odd. I mean, you don't see white people living in log cabins and wearing pilgrim clothes because it is their heritage. You don't see black people running around looking like Zulu warriors because it is their heritage.

 

I'm not trying to be disrespectful. I just don't get why the reservations and tribes even still exist. Other than casinos of course.

 

Would love some insight on the matter. I had a girlfriend who used to do mission trips to a reservation in South Dakota. She made it sound like the worst combination of trailer park and inner city ghetto. Why not just leave and assimilate?

Let's be honest. The "war machine" hasn't directly defended the continental United States from a foreign power since 1812.

 

In fact, most of it is arrayed around the globe defending other people.

 

And nobody can deny that money wise, it's one of the biggest scams since the Catholic Church.

 

We could cut our military by 2/3 and still be invincible in our home waters and skies. But there isn't much opportunity for graft in that.

 

I agree with Ron Paul on this. It's the American empire, and it should be disbanded, by and large.
