That being said, you'd be surprised what people will do with outdated information. some out there will just take the list of the top 20 fantasy point players from last year and use it to draft their players. based purely on last years final stats (total fantasy points for the year) Gore ranked #12 last year in both standard and PPR. Some would use this as justification to draft him as a RB1 regardless of how many players had to get hurt for him to make it there. ralphster 274 Posted June 22, 2017 Gore is going late 6th to mid 7th right now. The guy trains like few others and keeps defying age/injury expectations. What he's lost in speed he's gained in football knowledge so he rarely leaves yards on the field. Mack is going in the 11th about now. If you take Gore you commit to cuffing him w Mack (or Turbin later?) so you probably need to take Mack earlier than adp. Whoever ends up the lead back for the Colts will still have to deal with a questionable oline. If that line improves at all I'd expect weekly rb15 ish numbers in ppr. weepaws 2,460 Posted June 22, 2017 I'm not buying it this season. Gore had 29 targets in the first eight games of last season and only 18 the last eight games. Gore avg 4.2 yards per rush first eight games , and 3.6 last eight. Gore scored a total of eight tds last season, five where in the first eight games , only three where in the last eight games. And I saw that inside the five yard line last season he scored on only two of ten att. And Gore scored only 1 TD in the last seven games of last season. Gore avg 14.6 ff ppr points first eight games and 12.4 last eight games. I truly believe he will be the number one listed Rb when the season starts, but I think his numbers drop below last year and we see more situation football with the Colts in using Gore, Turbin, and the Mack attack.
