Was down in the strip in pittsburgh yesterday

Stopped by penzeys to refill some spices... i cant get enough of that Galena Street rub. Then I stopped at Reynas to get some corn tortillas.. some fajita seasoning and I even picked up a bag of fresh tamales for lunch. Then wohleys for a couple pounds of shrimp and salmon.

 

Then to Parma sausage to get some keilbasa, hot salami and picked up a pack of their chipotle cheddar sausages to grill. Last stop was penn mac for some fresh cheese and some corned beef and mesquite turkey.

 

Beautiful day mid 70s and sunny in october.

So what is this place, a bunch of mom and pop shops selling different fresh stuff in one place? Sounds great.

 

I did a bunch of laundry while watching the Cards get their asses whooped and lose Palmer and their season.

I've boycotted Penzey. Bill Penzey is one of the most obnoxious leftists who owns a company I know: he constantly is throwing his political ideology and insulting people on the right directly through his product literature. He wants to irritate half of his potential clients; fine. But I will react by not buying his stuff.

 

Too bad too: the product is excellent. Not worth the idiotic treatment to his potential client base. He's a regular hot topic in the Milwaukee area (where the HQ is).
