Bench Eli for Garrard/Leinart/Big Ben?

So I'd like to bench Eli, due to bad weather and the Bears, but other choices aren't too good. I've got Leinart on the bench (@ DAL) or I could drop him to pick up Garrard (vs. HOU) or Big Ben (vs. NO).

 

I'm also torn on my WRs.

pick 2:

DJAX (vs. STL, usually my favorite, but maybe rainy here too)

Driver (@ MIN)

Hines Ward (vs. NO don't want to start him and Big Ben)

Think i'd stick with Eli, He could go for about 200 yards and 2 tds this week dont seem to matter who he plays he always seems to get something, Driver and DJax is the WR's i'd play, although if it is raining pretty hard in Seattle i'd probably go with Hines instead of DJax.

My choice is Big Ben. I'm going with him against New Orleans instead of Delhomme/Tampa - Huard/Miami. You know the dude will probably keep throwing the rock; just hope his TDs/yards outweigh his picks.

Garrard's got a great match-up, and plenty of weapons to work with (Jones-Drew, Matt Jones is back, the incredible disappearing act that is Reggie Williams, etc). Unless you believe Houston's defense can hold a probable playoff team with a solid offense to only 7 points TWICE in a season, he's a good play. Eli's hard to bench, but I'm starting to think this game is low-scoring, with lots of grinding it out on the ground.

 

As for your WRs, I'd go DJax and Driver unless the weather is absolutely TERRIBLE in Seattle tomorrow. I just have very little faith in Ben. Plus, Ward's fantasy value is heavily inflated due to his one HUGE game - beyond that, he's been okay-to-poor in his other games, basically. Avoid.

Personally I like Eli on Sunday night even with Gerrards good matchup and Driver and Ward are your safest bets. I wouldnt sit Eli this weekend plus Burress will play and the Chicago DB's can be had. Good luck. Please see mine

Like you said in my thread, you're in the same position as me. =/ I have a feeling Eli might do good, and he always does decent even if he would starts out bad. I like Garrard but if it becomes a no contest they might run it out. Um. I wouldn't think about Ben. Sorry, that's all I can give you since we're in the same position. =p

 

As for the WRs, DJax and Driver for sure.

If the weather is going to be bad, I agree with this 100%, if the weather is decent - stick with Manning.
