The Bungels alone are good for at least 6 more arrests before the start of next season. With the rest of the NFL pitching in the total will easily eclipse 10.

It would be fun to keep track of this Joc.

I voted 10 or more. I'm counting on the Bengals representing like they usually do.

#1 in the offseason occured this morning

Falcons DE Jonathan Babineaux was arrested for felony animal abuse. Posted bail this morning for $2,300 and was released before 8am. He said he didn't do it....but the police said his story was inconsistent. Mix breed pit bull took a "massive blow to the head".

#1 for the season

never thought there would be animal abuse - you focker - maybe you should take a massive blow to the head.

Oops didn't see Rhodes getting arrested for a dui - two in one day!

Someone else will get caught in a airport like Vick and the Whizzonator did! F*cking retards why don't you have your buddy carry your drugs for you? Hmmm maybe that would be a good idea.

It's mid-March and we're not up to 10 yet? It must be the unseasonably cold weather that has gripped much of the nation. The pace should pick up with the arrival of Mr. Sun to our hemisphere.

Joey Porter arrested for punching Levi Jones of the Bengals in a dispute that began at a Las Vegas blackjack table. What are we up to now, 6? 7? Wouldn't you know a Cincy player would be involved. Aren't there are any Bengals who just stay home at night?

Was he arrested? I'll check the info - I just thought he punched the guy. Let me find out officially - thanks

He was issued a summons on a misdemeanor battery charge. I don't know what the heck this means. Was taken to the police station or not????

Well, he could get up to a year in jail for it. But it's unlikely he'll danything more than pay a $1000 fine unless he was on probation.

Gerald Sensabaugh, Jaguars safety, was arrested yesterday for speeding and possession of an unregistered firearm. I think we need updated totals here, as things are beginning to heat up along with the hemisphere.

Don't know if this is correct, but....NFL Arrest Rates About 2% per year for NFL players.

2004 crime rates for the US...Link About 4.75% for arrests per year.

 If this page is correct, then the NFL players are better behaved than the normal population.

Pacman was arrested for public intoxication and obstruction (swing at a cop)

Anyway, I believe he's in the middle of a plea bargain and waiting what the NFL's response would be if he accepts the plea bargain.

That's a little more than not being charged.

What about the rape at the Kerney house? I haven't read the story so I don't know if there's any NFL players involved.

???

Its sad to have to ask this but WHICH Pacman arrest or incident are you referring to? He has not been arrested for anything THIS offseason. The public intoxication charge I believe is from last summer and obstruction consists of giving false information to the police or authorities, destroying evidence, things of that nature. Taking a swing at a cop would be assault.

In the vegas strip club incident Pacman has yet to be charged with anything at all.

Your right, my bad. There's been so many, I wasn't thinking about this year. The arrest was last year, but his court appearance was supposed to be this month. Sorry.

On Sunday, April 25, Carolina Panthers reserve guard D'Anthony Batiste was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon, a misdemeanor.

Just in time before the new NFL gun laws are in place.

Police say Bucs' Gates assaulted pregnant woman

TAMPA, Fla. -- Buccaneers running back Lionel Gates was arrested and charged with hitting a pregnant woman in the face and pushing her into a wall during an argument.

The 25-year-old player was being held Friday with no bond, jail records said.

Gates kicked in the front door of Peggie Lavender's apartment Thursday night, destroyed two televisions and two doors, put a hole in the bedroom wall and assaulted her, a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office report said. He was arrested later at his apartment in the same complex.

Gates was charged with burglary of a dwelling, aggravated battery of a pregnant woman and criminal mischief. A call to his lawyer, Ken Sarnoff, was not immediately returned. The team had no immediate comment.

"Charges such as those facing Lionel Gates are taken seriously by the Buccaneers organization," the team said in a statement Friday. "We plan to meet with Lionel as soon as possible after which we will deal with this matter appropriately."

Gates was signed by Tampa Bay in September after being released by Buffalo. He played in college at Louisville and was drafted by the Bills in 2005.
