Another way Gaines is bigoted is her insistence on calling trans girls “he.” You don’t even have to say “she,” just use their name, even only their last name. Insisting on saying “he” is just being a dbag because you feel like it. And if the response is “no one should have to participate in their mental illness,” then it’s acknowledging that this “cause” isn’t just about sports. -

Ok, you're acting like a 10 year old little b!tch, so I'll treat you like one. Fine. Ok little b!tch, here it is, wrapped up in a little bow. YOU claimed that Gaines point was that girls/women, being forced to play against boys (hence, on the field), was akin to sexual abuse (heaven forbid I misquoted you, while the point still remained the same). YOUR assessment was based on a tweet that Gaines posted of a group picture of the girls softball team... it wasn't a quote. So, it was what YOU think, was the point she was making. I gave you an article stating what Gaines' argument on this topic has been... and it's never changed. It's about girls/women, being forced by the school/government/governing bodies, to be naked (showers), in front of naked men, being akin to sexual abuse. So, even though I proved you wrong... AND Gaines herself proved you wrong in that Fox show you noted, you still haven't admitted you were wrong. YOU claimed that Gaines was a bigot. Gaines has NEVER ONCE said that trans people should be ignored, she only said that they don't belong in women's sports. Now, I do believe she has said that they should have their own category, but I don't recall. I do KNOW that she never said to ignore them. So, there really is no reason for Biles to call out Gaines, at all, unless Biles is being the bigot. Gaines says men don't belong in women's sports. If Biles is ok with that, then I'm not surprised that is her stance, now that it doesn't directly affect her anymore (see Megan Rapinoe). If she doesn't, then she agrees with Gaines. So, why call her out? I'll tell you why, it's because she, like you in this thread, is being a little b!tch, and wants attention. Her objective is greed, ego, and vanity... to stay important for some post-gymnastics career. Again, odd that's her objective considering that's why she needed a "mental health" break during the Olympics. Yours seems to be a Napoleon Complex. She took the "L" because she knows she was wrong about the personal attacks towards Gaines and that she actually doesn't disagree with Gaines about boys/men not belonging in girls/women's sports. She apologized because she knows that the vast majority of the country agrees with Gaines. It's her attempt to pretend to stand up against conservative beliefs and come off as being morally superior. YOU are a fool for falling for it. -

Yeah I love how they keep arguing “oh we’re not homophobic we’re just anti-trans, as if there’s a difference, and then bigot @iam90sbaby comes in and blows away their whole argument. @iam90sbaby is the most honest anti-trans person in this forum IMO. He doesn’t offer any of the mentally ill arguments or “we’re castrating children!” BS. He doesn’t try to claim science is on his side like @jerryskids does. He just comes right out and says “Trans is gross”. Which is at the root of ALL of the arguments that most of the folks hear make. -

I'm not sure I agree with your assessment: "And it's not just trannies; once you open the door to trannies in women's spaces, you open the door for every pervert out there. Trannies of all variations can use the men's room and leave the women alone. Problem solved." Grammatically, I don't believe "every pervert" necessarily applies to trans folks. It's more what I said -- every abuser regardless of orientation, some of whom may be trans, most (most likely) aren't really trans but using this opportunity to do bad things, because there are a lot more of those types. Had he said "every other pervert", I would agree he's lumping all trans into "pervert." That all being said, I understand the spirit of your post. As I said earlier, people on "my side" tend to say a boy is a boy and a girl is a girl, or that trans doesn't exist, and IMO whether or not they are true, they immediately shut down meaningful dialog.

The post Biles responded to said nothing about locker rooms. The post Gaines responded to Biles with said nothing about locker rooms. You’re just making sh1t up, and trying to back it up with year and a half old articles for some reason. Honestly I feel pretty confident in saying that even Gaines’ biggest issue with competing aging biological males anyway is the actual competing, not locker rooms (rightfully so). Are you saying if trans kids were provided separate locker rooms but still allowed to compete against girls, Gaines (and apparently you) would be okay with it? -

excellent post. Oddly I have not commented in this thread. I would say I view trans as a mental illness. I think it's odd that dems and libs shouted "trust the science" when it came to masks and vaccines but we somehow don't trust science when it comes to sex and chromosomes. Yes, I understand there is XXY and such, but also as I understand it, a guy who feels he is a trans woman can get breast implants, cut off his peter, grow his hair long, take hormones, dress like a woman etc etc and his DNA is still going to say he is a male... no? I never had an issue with gay/lesbian because I think attraction and what you personally find attractive is subjective. I get that super conservative and religious types also view this as mental illness... Most men would want to have a threesome with two women. If they say they don't they are most likely lying... . That fact alone, at least to me, says they must be okay with bisexuality. Being born male or female is not subjective. Do I personally care if someone is "trans"? No. As long as it's not hurting anyone, why should I really care? When I DO care is when we are talking about influencing children or when we are talking about issues like sports where Brendan wants to be Brenda and wants to play on the collegiate women's golf team, taking away a spot from a biological woman. I will say one thing I never really considered was the point Jerry made above about how we treat depression and other mental illnesses versus how we treat transgenderism -
And another thing about the kids today. They can't even get being Trans right. For every Blair White there's 1000 guys with full beards and some eyeshadow claiming to be Trans. Uh Noooo. If I can see your a man through beer goggles, then you are not a Trans. Don't they have a guide book or something they can give these people?

Well, two I know are on Grindr, and they've posted on Facebook about the men who wind up in their in box. They're not on Grindr to hook up. They're there to find other trans to socialize with, at least according to them. And like your friends, they don't think biologically born men belong in women's sports, and they don't like the activists trans who noisily push their agenda. They just want to quietly live their lives and be left alone.
