Farmer Bernie 0 Posted May 18, 2005 Once again, I feel like I ended up with good value at this pick. Hopefully either Clayton or White can serve as my FLEX player at various points throughout the season. Not bad for 1.10 and 2.10. Agreed. Great value for the pick. Cornerback 0 Posted May 18, 2005 Mark Bradley WR CHI Why don't you fockers put your picks on the league site? It will not allow me to do so until Wilzone selects. BTW nice pick ... hope you had a good vacation.

OB1 33 Posted May 18, 2005 Why don't you fockers put your picks on the league site? Maybe for the same reason you don't update the fraft thread with everyone's picks and who is on the clock even though you are a mod and a commish?
OB1 33 Posted May 18, 2005 Also, very nice value wilzone with White, he had dropped too far IMO. Also like the Alex Smith pick, knew he was going soon as well.

I wouldn't expect much from Sharod this year... next year though, he's a good one. He's getting rave reviews in the mini-camps (who doesn't though, right?). Yeah, I'd be happy with production next year. Any production from a rookie WR is a bonus.

My point was that you picked, and didn't bother to update the fraft thread with the picks before you or your own.

The Unknown Soldier 0 Posted May 19, 2005 Shocked, surprised and tremendously delighted to get Morency at 2.07. I was originally targeting one of the QBs here, but the QB are all gone and I never expected Morency here anyway. I thought about taking him at 2.
OB1 33 Posted May 19, 2005 Even though I like Jackson's propsects for producing sooner rather than later, and had taken him over McPhearson in Requiem, I really wanted Adrian here. windycity ripped him away at the last second.
Mark Buffington 3 Posted May 19, 2005 I like the Pearman pick. He'll likely have more of an impact sooner than later. I considered him over Barber, but felt Barber had more upside. Actually, come to think of it, I focked up!

Actually, come to think of it, I focked up! Me too, though I'm surprised he went this high. I think he'll be a 3rd down type back that contriubtes this year - and in a 1pt/rec league, he will be effective.

OB1 33 Posted May 22, 2005 Certainly a homer aspect to this pick, but with Boo sucking so badly last year and Watson not looking to get any serious touches in the near future, I needed another option at TE. Jolley could get a lot of looks in the Jet's new offense or he could be used like Becht, either way he's a starting TE.

Jolley could get a lot of looks in the Jet's new offense or he could be used like Becht, either way he's a starting TE. I was going to take him next if you had left him for me. It's not a dire need with Gates, but he'd be nice to have.

Wilzone 0 Posted May 25, 2005 Yeah, I would have taken Freddie Jones if he lasted until 4.10 but it's not like he's good or anything so I won't get too upset about it.
The Unknown Soldier 0 Posted May 25, 2005 Yeah, I would have taken Freddie Jones if he lasted until 4.10 but it's not like he's good or anything so I won't get too upset about it. I had to start Jones in one league last year due to injuries. Hopefully I won't have to until Graham has a bye week this year. He used to be pretty good fantasy-wise (for a tight end), but Delhomme would have to really target him to be worth much. But if he does get looks, Jones still has talent and good hands. Farmer Bernie 0 Posted May 25, 2005 I knew Orgazmo was going to take Anderson I must really suck to know I was going to take Dilfer at that spot. Once Dilfer was gone, I meant. I figured you to take Dilfer in one of your two pick around me. Once Hoo took him, I knew Anderson was gone to you.

Wilzone 0 Posted May 26, 2005 I am very pleased with how the draft went. I added some much needed depth to my QB (Kurt Warner and Andrew Walter) and TE (Teyo Johnson) positions and then I added a guy who should contribute right away (Mark Clayton) and a young WR with a lot of upside (Roddy White).
