OB1 33 Posted June 3, 2004 Wilzone and I discussed Foster and Jackson last evening. I like both picks. I have Foster in a couple leagues and hence I am high on him. I really like what Wilzone has done in the 3rd and 4th. I was set to do similar things, like taking McGahee at 3.12, and then a Foster or someone else at 4.06, but I decided I wanted to try and build a team that could win this year since I selected Harrison over Jones in round 2. Given his chosen strategy, I love the Foster pick, and it makes the Jackson pick better. Together they form a nice stable of young RBs with potential for a 16 team league. In LOST I have K.Jones, J.Jones, and McGahee. I am psyched to see what kind of backfield that can become next year or even the end of this year.

grandpahoo 9 Posted June 4, 2004 And in case no one can tell, I had a supremely sh!tty day at work and hate everyone right now. I'm hoping someone takes the guy I had targeted at 4.3 before I pick at 4.7 so I can find another reason to hate someone.

grandpahoo 9 Posted June 4, 2004 Also, there is something focking amusing about answering the phone and having an unidentified person say "Grandpahoooooo." I thought you'd like that. By the way, I couldn't close my office door when we were talking because all my sh!t is packed up for a move to a new office. When I got off the phone, the guy in the office next to me came over and asked who I'd been talking to. When I asked why, he said, "All I could hear was you talking about a bunch of random football players and saying "fock" every other word."

grandpahoo 9 Posted June 4, 2004 Hoooooly crap. Wilzone is going to laugh his ass off when he sees 4.6 - I was going to take TJ at 4.3, but was 99% sure he'd drop to 4.7.
Wilzone 0 Posted June 4, 2004 1 pick!!! To be honest 'hoo, I think BNF did you a favor by drafting him. Thomas Jones is and always will be a bust, IMO.

OB1 33 Posted June 4, 2004 Oh the focking irony hoo. I posted your 4.03 pick earlier because galt had sent me your picks but hadn't made the second one yet. I was rushing around and decided to post it so I wouldn't hold things up. 10 seconds after I did that I reread galts mail and realized he said "These were hoo's picks before wilzone contacted him." I rushed back to delete it, but scooby and Bernie had already seen it. I felt sick. I deleted their posts alluding to it and prayed that they wouldn't take him. When they took suggs and brown I sighed since BNF wasn't around. Then, in a cruel twist of fate, he focking PICKS HIM!!!! I'm dumjim, and you're unlucky. I realize that Heap (Ravens) and TJ (UVa) would have been the biggest back to back homer picks ever, but still... I'll pick in a minute - I'm scrambling a bit since Suggs and TJ were the two guys I was targeting here.
OB1 33 Posted June 4, 2004 huh? hoo had givn jgalt a list for the 4.02 and 4.03 picks. At the last minute, wilzone contacted hoo to make a deal for 4.3. galt posted the first pick but was waiting to make the second since they were talking trade. I guess he had to run out, so he sends it to me. I thought i needed to post it because I didn't read it all the way since I was rushing around. I posted it, realized a minute later that I am an retarded hamster and focked it up, I deleted it. I come to this thread and two people had seen it. They happened to pick shortly. Wilzone and hoo make a trade. I was worried I focked up hoo's draft, but they didn't pick the guy. One pick before hoo, you grab jones, hoo's guy. get it? Wilzone 0 Posted June 4, 2004 huh? Hoo sent in his picks before I contacted him to make that trade. OB1 posted his 4.03 as Thomas Jones before he realized that Hoo had traded 4.03 to me. Both FB and Scooby saw that pick when it was made so OB1 was scared that he had blown hoo's cover. In a cruel twist, you picked Jones and you weren't even there during the fiasco.
