Mike MacGregor 21 Posted March 15, 2006 Makes sense. Keyshawn can be a solid contributor to an offense. He is better than people give him credit for, assuming we've all long forgotten the expectations associated with his high draft status eons ago.
TD Ryan2 316 Posted March 15, 2006 Makes sense. Keyshawn can be a solid contributor to an offense. He is better than people give him credit for, assuming we've all long forgotten the expectations associated with his high draft status eons ago. And Keyshawn can take over the Givens role as a tough, posession type WR. Keyshawn makes sense to this Pats fan.
Vikings4ever 568 Posted March 15, 2006 How long until there's a report about the Pats being interested in the 3rd member of the jackass trio, Javon Walker?
surferskin 31 Posted March 15, 2006 yep, this would a great move...let the guys that won you championships walk to bring in this selfish jackass. though he does fit the corey dillon mold of player.
Jesus Christ 0 Posted March 15, 2006 There is the Jets connection with Belichick plus - from Sports Illustrated: The NFL is a tough party to crack. The older guys don't embrace young players until they've done the job at the toughest times in the toughest games. But they all like Brady. In fact, when you talk to veteran players about him, you get the feeling that they wish they were on his team. "I think he'd be the ultimate teammate," says Steelers back Jerome Bettis. Dallas receiver Keyshawn Johnson makes the same point, and even flirts with heresy: "He's the Joe Montana of this era." At a young age. That's what you've got to remember -- the guy just turned 28. "Three Super Bowls at that age," Johnson says. "Un-freakin'-believable. And with his attitude, he's not done. I bet he's got three more in him."
mggoilers 0 Posted March 15, 2006 The Texans should pay the man, and get him in to play WR2. He'd be a solid compliment to Andre and would help the kid from Hampton. He'd also give Carr the much needed across the middle threat. Not to mention, when the Texans draft Bush he could ease the transition for his fellow USC alum. According to him, he's not looking for huge dollars just guaranteed money.
Vince44 208 Posted March 16, 2006 I think it'd be a good move, as long as you keep him with the Parcells coaching tree, he will stay in line.
