Deadpool 0 Posted March 23, 2006 Found this here Thought it would be a good conversation piece as the NFL draft is coming up and much has been made of the Wonderlic Test and what it really means. Voltaire 5,305 Posted March 23, 2006 This explains a lot and you know what.... this test really does a good job. I can look at the top and the bottom and get a real grasp of those players being the ones who belong where they are. Good info
Kyle Orton 0 Posted March 23, 2006 Orton, Kyle 2005 Purdue 25, 27 I should have score higher, but I was really tired, I was out late the night before and I think I might have been still drunk. Me getting "blitzed" If my wonderlic scores were higher like Rex's maybe I could figure out how to post this picture of me getting drunk

Bad_Mo_focher 1 Posted March 23, 2006 Culpepper took it three times? wtf? Also, how does Akili Smith score a 37 one time and a 15 the other? He had to have paid someone to take the first test for him.

Deadpool 0 Posted March 23, 2006 These are the ones that I found strange. Found this here Collins, Kerry 1995 Penn State 30 Henson, Drew 2003 Michigan 42 Krenzel, Craig 2004 Ohio State 38 Carter, Quincy 2001 Georgia 30 I just didn't think Collins's test would have been that high. How in the hell did Henson score higher than a guy that majored in Molecular Biology? (or whatever the hell Krenzel majored in). And Q's score of 30. Of all the QBs listed on their, Carter has to be most un-intelligent, how in the hell did he pull that score?!

General intelligence doesn't always equate to being able to make good football decisions. I don't see why you're so shocked. Hell, you can easily get a 25 on that test even if it takes you a long time to answer questions, but on the field you never get any time to make your decisions. Yippie Skippy 0 Posted March 24, 2006 Alot has to do with how well they are prepared for the test, which is the job of a good agent. Or the job of a good brother in Eli's case. I wish that they gave IQ tests and published those. Great info, but I will move Vince Young up in my keeper rankings another notch or two after reading this. A written test doesn't tell me what kind of a football player he is as much as my eyeballs do. Vince is going to be a fantasy stud for years to come with top dog potential. jdswan922 0 Posted March 24, 2006 3 very interesting names were Losman, Campbell, and Akili Smith... They all had rather large differentials in their multiple scores. Does that go to the accuracy of the test? The environment in which they were taken? The ability to coach/prepare a player for the test? Or are these just anomolies?
