hoytdwow 202 Posted April 4, 2006 TNG was better than the original Star Trek, in my admittedly humble opinion.

I normally buy my computers from the referbished site because you can get some great deals if you pay attention. TNG said she wanted a new one and when I saw they were having dells today on 3 of them I thought I would throw that out there for her. What are you using it for? Aside from that, some work usage (spreadsheets and stuff), photos from my digital camera, and also my IPod stuff. I generally don't play games on a PC; prefer consoles for. I have a friend with all that stuff so I should be good to go. Thanks. My last notebook was a dell I bought 2 years ago for $150. It lasted up until about a month ago when it crashed completely. It was time for something new anyway.

We are still talking about it/researching. I will probably go with a Dell just becuase I don't kow of ANYONE who's had problems with them. We've owned a few HP's in the last few years, and there always seems to be problems with them. HUbby's desktop PC is a Dell, and it's been great to him.
