remote controller 143 Posted June 20, 2006 Shane, Bomb's right it is nighttime and technically off the clock but we got here waiting for you TWICE for couple hours during the day. If you were here in the last couple hours, we'd likely be back to you for rnd5 by now. I really need you to email bomb/me some picks, check in more frequently during the day, at least a few times during night or I'm going to have to go with someone else. :Insertmadscientistlaugh: NAn, I sent you an email this afternoon with my picks. Da Bomb 0 Posted June 20, 2006 NAn, I sent you an email this afternoon with my picks. Did you not get it? I apologize for holding up the draft twice now, i had to be at work tonight. just get the pick in. for future reference, maybe email both nan and me, in case one of us is busy or it gets lost. youve realized quickly that we get pretty serious with this mock, so try to be sure to stay on top of things and no one will get hurt. shocked how far santana moss fell. i was actually considering him some back at my 3.3 pick. NAn 39 Posted June 20, 2006 NAn, I sent you an email this afternoon with my picks. Did you not get it? I apologize for holding up the draft twice now, i had to be at work tonight. Excuse me a minute as I take my foot out of my mouth. I've been jumping straight to the mock and not checking email...I did get it but hadn't checked. So my apologies for the tirade...you were on top of it and I wasn't. In future, as Bomb suggested, send it emails to him first...he really has nothing better to do. I apologize again. I am serious about this mock as well, and I check in very frequently when I can. I had to work tonight, and I sent NAn and email with my 4th and 5th round picks. I will be more diligent in the future and can assure everyone here that my picks will be made promptly from here on out. sorry guys.
Vikings4ever 549 Posted June 20, 2006 shocked how far santana moss fell. i was actually considering him some back at my 3.3 pick. Had Corey Dillon not fallen to my 4th, Moss likely would have been my pick.
NAn 39 Posted June 20, 2006 had he fell to me would have had a hard time passing on him. really like him this year with what should be an even more improved offense.
Da Bomb 0 Posted June 20, 2006 Had Corey Dillon not fallen to my 4th, Moss likely would have been my pick. interesting that you consider dillon a "fall" in the 4th. ive seen him late 4th or 5th in all the other mocks so far. havent heard much good about him so far with maroney in camp. NAn 39 Posted June 20, 2006 And where the *&%$%*@ is Danzone...it's been like 10 minutes since Shane picked.

According to antsports, he's got an ADP in the mid/late 3rd, and he went at 4.02 in the June mock. Not exactly a fall, but I was happy that Miller didn't take him. FantasyKing 4 Posted June 20, 2006 I think its about 11pm where thedanzone is and he has kids so I'm guessing this is over for the night. I'm about done myself, may check one more time and then will check first thing in the AM.
Vikings4ever 549 Posted June 20, 2006 huh, interesting. hes been going much later than that in the other mocks ive done. you expect a bounceback year i guess? Dispite only having 900 combined yards, and playing only 12 games, he still put up 13 TDs last year. It was good enough to put him as the number 16 RB last year, a pretty good number 2, and a kick ass number 3. Even if he does split time with Maroney, I'd expect similar numbers (assuming he stays healthy), as I think he'll be the goal line back.

NAn 39 Posted June 20, 2006 Along with Portis/Moss/Ward I know have a solid #2rb in Foster...for the first 7wks before he gets hurt. Actually like Foster, think he gets some of those tds that Davis vultured (12) and like his ypc of 4.6 when he was given reigns as the starter. Obviously though, the injury history is a significant concern...but I needed a rb and getting real thin at this pt, looking at many rbbc's. Feel I can definitely shore up though in coming rounds (more on that later). There was a player I would have loved to grab here but hamstrung with rb situation. Da Bomb 0 Posted June 20, 2006 curtis martin is a guy ive really sold myself out on this year. i think people have given up on him prematurely. that line got at least 3 times better in the offseason, and i think hes got another good fantasy year left in him. hes going to churn out 75 yards a week with a few catches, and every now and then he'll put up the TDs. with my #2 RB being on the riskier/upside-ier side of things (chester taylor), i wanted to get a guy i felt confident in here, even if he didnt have a ton of upside. cumar is a guy im confident in rushing for 1100 yards, catching 300, and scoring 6-10 TDs. thats not going to be very pretty, but its going to do me quite fine as a 3rd RB. i thought long and hard about just passing on RB and taking other positions here, but i mapped things out and like how i think they will fall to me. we'll see...
