OB1 33 Posted June 10, 2004 I think Bernie's team could compete this season which makes the Keenan McCardell pick a fantastic one. why do i feel like McCardell was frafted two rounds ago? I wanted to make sure that I could compete this year, and still have enough young, up-and-coming guys to keep it going for years. If I can get a guy who will catch 75-90 balls this year at the 148th pick, I will. You made my choice here easy, as McCardell was starting to slip way too far, even for a 34 year old in a dynasty draft. No reason he can't have another solid year, and at the very least be a nice flex player for you. If you hadn't taken him I might have, and then probably lost Rhodes. As it was, I felt I HAD to take Rhodes before someone else did. I think James' knee is fine, but he did miss games last year, and I would be foolish not to secure his primary backup, who happens to have a 1000 yard 9TD season on his resume and is only 25 himself. I really wanted to go another direction here, there are 2 players out there that I would love to have taken, but again, If I lost out on Rhodes it could come back to haunt me. He'll definitely play every week for me this year.

I don't have an 11th so I need to make this pick worthwhile. After careful thought, I'll pass (unless you quickly sweeten the deal in 3 minutes)

Also, considering how bad Shannie is at drafting WRs, Smith may have several productive years of work ahead of him.

Bitter Naval Frizz 0 Posted June 10, 2004 There is not enough discussion going on pertaining to my picks Richie Anderson is going to be BIG in Dallas this year...lot's of receptions and even more carries once J. Jones pisses off Parcells. And Kennison is kicking bootay in KC. Just ask CMH976789. Lloyd is going to have a great year (I foresee)...Damb...my team is looking Grrrrrrrreat!!!!
