Farmer Bernie 0 Posted June 15, 2004 We're not exactly picking the most valuable football players at this point. You mean YOU'RE not. Some of us still are
The Unknown Soldier 0 Posted June 15, 2004 Just checking in. I'll check back on Thursday. No lists sent. Thank you drive through.
Call me...Tim? 0 Posted June 15, 2004 If the rest of the draft is as horrible as the last couple of days, I'm going to lose my mind. Is it too much to ask people to send lists if they know they'll be away for extremely long periods of time, especially during the business days? We're not exactly picking the most valuable football players at this point. Has this draft even officially started yet?
whoisjgalt 0 Posted June 15, 2004 Jasper's last post was: Posted on: Jun 15 2004, 03:49 AM (roughly PDT) so maybe he was up all last night drooling over the DI-Meph threads and then slept in - way in.
Orgazmo 2 Posted June 15, 2004 Has this draft even officially started yet? No it has not and that's why we're all whiny cockbites for acting like a 45 minute delay is the end of the world.

JasperisOK 0 Posted June 16, 2004 A truly wonderful day in the O.R. today. Sorry for keeping anyone waiting. I think I learned a valuable lesson. That would be to not count on being able to prepare a list in the morning, especially after being called in early (which explains my one and only post this morning). OB1 33 Posted June 16, 2004 CMT is OTC...good night, O. Huh? Wha? Thanks for the help O! I managed to avoid major injury and hit the game winning 3-run HR!! Unfortunately our best player and one of our best girls weren't so lucky. Our team had an achillies tear and an ACL tear tonight all in the first two innings (At least that is what we think the two injuries are, hopefully tests will reveal less devastating ailments) Viva la weekend warriors! OB1 33 Posted June 16, 2004 Just got back from lunch and I'm on a call. give me one minute. And then you freakin take a te I was looking at.. Had he been drafted by a team with less of a TE glut I think he'd be long gone by now. At this point situations don't concern me as much as talent. I can wait a few years for Watson to become a stud.
OB1 33 Posted June 16, 2004 Moore is another good example of what I was just saying. He is in a horrible situation for a rookie RB to try and break through in, but he has the skill to be a solid receiving back. Down the line he'll be a good guy to get points for receptions. The Unknown Soldier 0 Posted June 16, 2004 I wanted a few from last round, but since they didn't drop...oh well. I wanted Tennessee rather than STL, but eh.

grandpahoo 9 Posted June 17, 2004 I think he's made his decision, but I'm asking for more definate wording. Bloody lawyers should know better. I think we're having email problems - I sent you an email about Glenn, then sent another email asking whether you got the first email, but I didn't hear back from you. I then went to a meeting and when I got back I had an email from you with TUS's picks, with no reference to my previous emails. Also, there's no focking way we get back to me tomorrow, but just in case - I will be out of pocket from 5:00 until 11:00 or so for a viewing (or whatever it is you call the funeral thing where everyone looks at you when you're dead). Man those things freak me out.
OB1 33 Posted June 17, 2004 Wow, I had a mail server crash on me and hadn't even thought about checking here. I was SURE I was being cursed out. Only 5 minutes between bernie's and my picks.
Call me...Tim? 0 Posted June 17, 2004 I like Bernies Bryant Johnson pick - the guy has a lot of talent IMO - he's just in a bad situation (a crappy team with a medicore QB and RB and Fitzgerald and Boldin to compete with). I have thought of taking him every round for the last 4.
