B1CUDA 0 Posted August 30, 2006 Some idiot drafted an entire roster of Raiders in our 10 team league tonight! His starting QB's are Brooks and Walter? (I got Lamont Jordan in the 2nd round) Has anyone ever seen some jerkoff do this? It was a first for me. I wanted to tell the guy that he was an a-hole and that he was wasting our time,but, they were his picks and his "donation" to the league. The cool part is that I play him in week 1. crooklyn 0 Posted August 30, 2006 2 years ago, a guy (from Indianapolis), through the draft and a series of trades, ended up with the entire Colts roster: manning, edge, harrison, wayne, stokely, pollard/clark, vanderjagt, and colts D. At that point it would be easy to get the rest of the Raiders. Or he could have abandoned the plan if he didn't get Moss, and still have a decent first-round pick. Now for the bad news, he'll be sacked 7 times, lose 2 fumbles and throw 5 INT's 2 of which will be returned for TD's. Through three rounds, he's taken: Carson Palmer (#3 overall, ahead of Shaun and Peyton and just about everyone) Reggie Bush (Ahead of Holt, Moss, Owens, Dunn) LenDale White (Ahead of Boldin, Dillon, Chambers, Wayne, Ward) I'm hoping he takes Mike Williams next. Gephardt69 0 Posted August 30, 2006 our auction league has a colts homer, a bengals homer, 2 steelers homers, and a rams homer. generally these five teams will be stocked with players from those four nfl teams (then again, they generally are four kickass nfl clubs). the best was right after tommy maddox had his one great season with the steelers and the two steelers fans had this great bidding war for him, the one team got him for $100 out of a $400 cap! I couldn't stop laughing. no question about it, the first name I'm throwing out this weekend is ben roethlisburger. even back in june when everything ben was saying sounded like "fndjafnajfajkwjkl" you just knew these guys would overpay for him. LOL! thats hilarious... my ex-father-in-law once drafted the entire Broncos team...QB, Rb (both of em), WR (Both of em), PK, and defense. he didnt take the TE, because he didnt wan't to "Overlaod" his team with too many Broncos... it was the year they went 8-8, and alternated wins every week. oddly enough, he did not do well... The entry fee into the league was only 100 clams, I wish I would have bumped it up a few hundy had I known. P.S.
