bradhpa 0 Posted September 1, 2006 Since you already answered my question... (Thanks again.) I like your team. Tough draft spot. My only question is this, do you really need to keep a backup kicker and defense? I don't. If one player gets hurt on a defense you can still play that squad. And kickers are so often interchangable, and hard to predict, that I just don't bother. IMO you may be able to steal a deep sleeper off the WW now that could pay huge dividends later. I'm just guessing but how about Mark (or Mike) Clayton at WR, Ben Watson at TE or even a Houston RB might still be available. Anyhow, just my $0.02. Good luck! We can carry 2 more players in my league, I'm waiting for the 1st or 2nd week to pick up another Rb and/or Wr, whoever steps up from the free agent list

pmccurry 0 Posted September 1, 2006 i like your team a lot. you have a very strong receiving core, and you still are stiing okay at the rb position, not to mention that guy named peyton at qb. good job. thanks for your help.
nextmjsdad 0 Posted September 1, 2006 Thanks for replying to mine. That team looks great!! Especially considering you had the 10th pick. I agree with bradhpa too. you can definitely find a sleeper (not sure if Lundy went in your draft) RB or WR that at the very least you can use as trade bait later, to take the spot of one of those K's and Defenses. GL and thx again
Sponge Bob 0 Posted September 1, 2006 Very good, balanced team. You should do well.
gphil 0 Posted September 1, 2006 Wow. Your team looks fantastic. I am assuming by the way you have it listed that you got Addai before Gore? How the heck did that happen? Anyhoo, your only debate (not a problem) is who to play as your #2 RB. I think you go with Gore most weeks. I think you're gonna runa away with it.
himmystyles 30 Posted September 1, 2006 Thats a really solid team... with Gore officially the man in SF, your RBs are deep and productive... Good job man... thats a great squad Thanks for the reply to mine.

Super Cubs 154 Posted September 1, 2006 Your team looks really solid at all positions. K Jones was a steal in the 7th. thank for answering mine
vergoetterung 0 Posted September 1, 2006 KJones has been falling in all the drafts I'm in. I'll feel pretty stupid if he has a good year. Nice draft. Apparently drafting RBs in the mid rounds is a good strat this year. I know it's dangerous to trade away RB depth, but you've got a lot of it, and could probably fetch a nice WR upgrade if you're willing to trade one of them (trade one of your WR3s+RB backup for a WR2 and maybe a cheaper RB prospect). http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227155
tgag 0 Posted September 1, 2006 Thanks for answering mine .. Second, I have to echo all the reponses you've received so far.. I'm impressed with your picks especially the fact that you picked tenth .. I think your team will do good..

Your only problem might be not having a great RB in a 10 team league could really hurt. But I cant blame you for taking Manning at 10 I always hated drafting in that spot. good luck Please look at mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227177
dolphinmanny 0 Posted September 1, 2006 Man do we have similar starters. I think you got some good second tier RB's and Chambers and Driver will be solid. Great team.
one22eye 0 Posted September 1, 2006 Thanks for responding to mine, Your team looks good but I agree w/ only one kicker/Def.. Your RB's look good but maybe you could find a sleeper or trade one of your WR's for a good 3RB. Other than that I think it's pretty solid.

You may want to think about grabbing Lundy as a potential RB, esp. since Davis has not shown much since the knee gave way last year. Gore should do you well, but Jones is waaaay too lackadasical for my tastes.
mkuz 0 Posted September 1, 2006 real good team but i would have taken ronnie brown in the 1st round, you should never draft a qb in the 1st round. mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227171

Thanks for your reply, I know you're j/k, GL
Yowza 0 Posted September 1, 2006 Your team is really solid all the way around. Youwill be champion if: Joseph Addai is the next Edge (he performs close to what Edge did his rook yr.) Peyton Manning stays healthy and is unaffected by the running game. Keyshawn Johnson and/or Reg Brown meet my heightened expectation for them (become viable #2 FF WRs - I own both of them as well) See mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227192
Football Fan 20 2 Posted September 1, 2006 WOW! That is the best draft I've ever saw in the 10th slot. You are primed to have a great year. Hope that everyone stays healthy and you will be right in the hunt come playoff time. Eyedea 0 Posted September 1, 2006 You have an excellent team. Good depth. Only thing that might concern me might be the #2 RB after Brown. Still a really good team. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227198 Thanks.
Gridiron Mafia 1 Posted September 2, 2006 Nicely done at that spot. Manning and Brown will be a lethal combo for you. And of course I really like the Matt Jones pick. I really think hes gonna have a huge breakout season.
unclemercy 53 Posted September 2, 2006 i'll respond... since you frequent frequently, give out alotta thoughts, and i generally seem to agree, but i'm on the other side here. it is a nice squad... but what? GO FINS AND COLTS? careful, guy... i do not like packers or niners and we'll see where that gets me... driver might be low end second tier by year end, but everyone has him somewhere and will come and loudly descent. anyways, i like manning this year more than last cause they probably won't win every game and his stock with me rose when edge went south... who really cares if they ever win as long as they score forty. hmmm... you're a ff head and already know everything else i'd leave... really like matt, not so much keenan, and reggie, and am looking for kevin jones to have a blowout year. wait... he won't be sitting third down, has nice hands, has experience, has played for multiple coaches in multiple schemes and is teamed with a tailback mad genius. trade you.... but, whatever... good luck, my man and join, or start, the conversation http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227368
