Post your crap-ass 2-0 team here

Recommended Posts

Here's the studs in my 12-team league who have given me a 2-0 start this year:

QB: Plummer, Brees, Carr

RB: S. Alexander, J. Lewis, Ced Benson, Gado

WR: R. Moss (#23 overall, please shoot me), A. Johnson, Stallworth, Coles, T. Taylor

TE: T. Gonzalez, V. Davis

K: Wilkins

D: Jax

My first three picks (SA, Moss and Lewis) are playing like benchwarmers. Kicker saved my butt in Week 1, Jax D saved it in Week 2. Moss aside, my WR corps is pretty strong, QB is shaky and RB is underperforming but I'm hoping they look like a strong group by mid-season.

What group of duds has you at 2-0?

12 team league:

QB: Bulger, Vick (I've been starting Bulger...but not anymore)

RB: Tomlinson, McGahee, D. Williams, M. Barber, M. Turner, S. Gado

WR: Chambers, A. Johnson, Houshmandzadeh, C. Henry, R. White

TE: Watson

K: Gould

D: San Diego

It's one of the worst teams I've drafted. I was forced into selecting several players I didn't want this year (McGahee, Chambers).

#1 pick in a 12 teamer:

QB: Favre

RB: L Johnson, C Dillon

WR: T Owens, A Boldin, D Bennett

TE: T Gonzo

I can honestly say it's the best team I've ever drafted in my life. I took a hit at the QB position by waiting so long, but hey, I'm 2-0 and my team is smoking hot!

It's not mine but there's a dork in my league who couldn't make the draft and forgot to set his list rankings. As a result, he drafted such gems as Dom Davis, Curtis Martin and Koren Robinson from the 12 spot. Regardless, he's 2-0, including a week 2 high score for the league with his top 2 picks not even playing (Portis and Steve Smith)... and Portis was in his active lineup!! :cry:

For the record, his lineup was:

Chargers

DeAngelo Williams on the bench. Gotta admit, the default draft list picked some good backup RBs for him.

Undefeated with this feast or famine team:

QB: McNabb

RB: Ronnie + Caddy

WR: Wayne + R. Moss

Flex: Dillon

TE: LJ Smith

K: Kasay

D: Ravens

So far I've been lucky as hell as Caddy is totalled, Ronnie has a jittery QB, Moss was right when he said it was crazy in Oaktown. I'm 2-0 because McNabb has been solid and the Ravens are possessed on Defense.

2-0 in 10-team league. I feel pretty good about the team overall.

QB: Brett Favre, Philip Rivers

RB: Shaun Alexander, Reggie Bush, Frank Gore, Chester Taylor, Lawrence Maroney, Marion Barber, Wali Lundy

WR: Torry Holt, Donald Driver, Derrick Mason

TE: Ben Watson

K: David Akers

Defense: New England

I'll probably move NE defense for someone else this week and maybe Lundy, as well.

10 team - tied for high score week 1, high score by a bunch in week 2 :dunno:

QB = McNabb (Leftwich)

RB = SJax, Dunn (Dayne)

WR = Driver, AJohnson (Michael Clayton, DBennett)

Flex = MJones (week1), Benson (week2) - will be Portis the rest of the way!

TE = Heap (Schefler)

K = Stover

D = Jags

I varied from my RB, RB, WR, RB philosophy because Dunn was available at 3.7, so at 4.4 Driver was my highest rated WR. Then I couldn't pass on McNabb in the 5th, so I got my starting WR's in the 4th and 6th.

12 team league normal scoring except passing td' are 6.

QB: Plummer, Green (OUTCH!)

RB: SA, Gore, Fred Taylor, Chester Taylor, Addai, Lundy (dropping Lundy tonight)

WR: Boldin, Cotchery, Michael Clayton (dropping Clayton tonight)

TE: Watson

K: Brown

DEF: Baltimore

Trying to pick up Colston + Favre/Grossman tonight.

Also trying to work over some other owners to trade me QB's, WR's for RB's.

2-0 while getting -5 from Plummer in Week 1 and 1 point from him in week 2.

-- thank you Gore and Baltimore <_<

Oh it's possible. Scored 8th most points this week, beat the team with 9th most points. Started Brees, SA, JLew, Moss, Stallworth, A. Johnson, Tony G., Wilkins and Jax D. Moss and Tony G. killed me but the rest did okay. Was losing by 1 point until Big Ben threw that last INT with a minute left Monday night, +2 points for Jax D, I win by 1 point.

I survived a week 1 90-90 tie w/ the roster below by having a huge game from my WR reserves. Absolutely pummelled my week 2 foe by 50 pts. I drafted this entire team, no ww/trades yet. Will probably WW this week to shore up the b/u QB spot, and replace my kicker. Beyond that, I couldn't be happier.

This team being 2-0 is really unbelievable, and unless i start getting production from my QB and RB's it won't be undefeated for long:

QB - Culpepper, Leftwich, B. Johnson

RB - C. Taylor, Maroney, Portis, Lundy

WR - Harrison, Boldin, A. Bryant, Wilford, C. Jackson

TE - Shockey

D - Baltimore

K - Akers

If not for Baltimore D I'd most likely be 0-2. Them's are the breaks though.

I prefer to think of it as in the trenches smashmouth football, not "crap-ass." :D

Not a lot of stud power but a solid gang of consistent (for the most part) performers. 12 team, keep 6, no TE league. Here's the starting lineup:

Culpepper

Chester Taylor and Fred Taylor (aka T-N-T :bench: )

Antonio Bryant, Rod Smith, Bobby Engram

Adam Vinatieri

Jacksonville D/ST

And who says kickers and defenses are all the same? Thinking about benching Rod Smith until Jay Cutler takes over, but otherwise I'm feeling pretty :bench: .
