GoBeavers 0 Posted September 19, 2006 Here's the studs in my 12-team league who have given me a 2-0 start this year: QB: Plummer, Brees, Carr RB: S. Alexander, J. Lewis, Ced Benson, Gado WR: R. Moss (#23 overall, please shoot me), A. Johnson, Stallworth, Coles, T. Taylor TE: T. Gonzalez, V. Davis K: Wilkins D: Jax My first three picks (SA, Moss and Lewis) are playing like benchwarmers. Kicker saved my butt in Week 1, Jax D saved it in Week 2. Moss aside, my WR corps is pretty strong, QB is shaky and RB is underperforming but I'm hoping they look like a strong group by mid-season. First and Long 0 Posted September 19, 2006 It's not mine but there's a dork in my league who couldn't make the draft and forgot to set his list rankings. As a result, he drafted such gems as Dom Davis, Curtis Martin and Koren Robinson from the 12 spot. Regardless, he's 2-0, including a week 2 high score for the league with his top 2 picks not even playing (Portis and Steve Smith)... and Portis was in his active lineup!! stosher1 0 Posted September 19, 2006 10 team - tied for high score week 1, high score by a bunch in week 2 QB = McNabb (Leftwich) RB = SJax, Dunn (Dayne) WR = Driver, AJohnson (Michael Clayton, DBennett) Flex = MJones (week1), Benson (week2) - will be Portis the rest of the way! TE = Heap (Schefler) K = Stover D = Jags I varied from my RB, RB, WR, RB philosophy because Dunn was available at 3.7, so at 4.4 Driver was my highest rated WR. Then I couldn't pass on McNabb in the 5th, so I got my starting WR's in the 4th and 6th.

jgcrawfish 232 Posted September 19, 2006 I survived a week 1 90-90 tie w/ the roster below by having a huge game from my WR reserves. Absolutely pummelled my week 2 foe by 50 pts. I drafted this entire team, no ww/trades yet. Will probably WW this week to shore up the b/u QB spot, and replace my kicker. Beyond that, I couldn't be happier.
