Texansfan 0 Posted September 28, 2006 You starting him this week at Da Bears or looking for an alternative? This is one of those top offense vs. top defense matchups everyone loves. It reaks of one of those games where you bench your stud and regret it. All signs are bad, on the road, vs. top defense, no SA. So it only makes sense that Hasselbeck will light it up. Thoughts? Sho Nuff 719 Posted September 29, 2006 As of right now...he is for Favre.
nobody 2,044 Posted September 29, 2006 I'd bench him for the following players Vick Frye McNabb Manning Brady Warner Palmer Bulger Bledsoe Delhomme Brees Pennington Culpepper Alex Smith Kunta
Justy2 0 Posted September 29, 2006 Chicago may be a good defense, but who have they played so far: Green Bay, Detroit and Minnesota. They are not exactly juggernaughts. Seattle may be weakened at RB with Alexander out, but they have MoMo to start. Hassleback is a better QB with a SOLID WR corps. They'll be able to play an effective spread offense with the addition of Branch.. I think that the Seahawks have a better chance than people are giving them credit. I am starting both Hassleback and DJax.
big blue bingo bob 0 Posted September 29, 2006 big time D vs big time O Just like the big time pitchers duel when both teams got their aces going and the score is 13-12. Start Matt and dont worry about something else.
natelevi 0 Posted September 29, 2006 would you start Matt over Bulger?
Querymeisters 0 Posted September 29, 2006 Unless you somehow have a second stud QB (Peyton Manning, McNabb, Palmer or Brady--I'd include Eli but he'll definitely have a subpar week ), you don't bench Hasselbeck.
Vols 0 Posted September 29, 2006 Keep in mind....Seattle's offensive line has a lot of injuries right now. Chicago D plus a shaky O line equals a tough day for Hass. I'm starting Brady instead.
Hawkeye G 0 Posted September 29, 2006 It's gonna be a rough day for hasselhoff. da bears don't have to worry too much about the run- they're bringin the house all day. He is going to be afraid to drop back by the end o the game
taa455 0 Posted September 29, 2006 I'd bench him for the following playersVick Frye McNabb Manning Brady Warner Palmer Bulger Bledsoe Delhomme Brees Pennington Culpepper Alex Smith Kunta That is crazy. You have to be joking. I am starting Hasselbeck. The Bears have not faced an offense like Seattle. 4 WR formations and quick passes will beat blitzing all day long. The fact that the running game is weak just means more passing.
Spinner 0 Posted September 29, 2006 Jackson Engram Burleson Branch I'll take Hassel with me at running back.

cortezthekiller303 0 Posted September 29, 2006 I'd bench him for the following playersVick Frye McNabb Manning Brady Warner Palmer Bulger Bledsoe Delhomme Brees Pennington Culpepper Alex Smith Kunta two questions: 1) do you play in a money league, and it yes, 2) is there a spot open that I can get in on? The Next Generation 10 Posted September 29, 2006 I'm starting Pennington instead vs the Colts. They have just about the same pts in my league and I'd rather have my QB in a shoot-out instead of a defensive battle. The Colts and Jets have averaged 65 total points per game in the last three meetings.
Garfieldthecat 0 Posted September 29, 2006 As for now I am Hass for Bledsoe. Bledsore is playing TEN so that's a great matchup. I think Hass should be still okay but compare to some it's a downgrade this week. I am still predicting 2 TDs and 1 INT
