bobpate17 0 Posted October 20, 2006 it is fair trade. but I wouldn't do it if I was giving up FWP because that will leave u with no RB. green is injured. Cle RB is not performing he was dropped in our league last week by a owner. and rest of his schedule is taugh. u need FWP more than CJ. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246202
panthro 0 Posted October 20, 2006 I would also hold off on this one. New Orleans are going into a really rough patch on the schedule for the next five or so weeks. I see his numbers dropping off considerably. I would be surprised to see Green finish the season with all the injury problems he has. Chad Johnson's production, which has been disappointing so far, will probably go up some, but not much. Palmer just isn't the same QB he was last year, and the Cinci O-line isn't going to get any better. Your getting a lot of big names in this trade, but I think all of them are going to be (or in some cases continue to be) underachievers this season. You need a QB, but I don't think Brees is the answer. I'd look for Brad Johnson. His value is fairly low right now and he should do well the rest of the season. Beyond Chaos 75 Posted October 20, 2006 I would hold on to FWP he's your best back.
IndyFan 2 Posted October 20, 2006 Fair - yes. But don't make the deal http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246220
bunnerjk 0 Posted October 20, 2006 You can't give up FWP, you would be screwed at RB!!!!!!!
Bpow0407 0 Posted October 20, 2006 the trade doesn't help you much, despite it being equal. There's little upside, especially since you are giving up your only quality RB http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246243
dd2005 0 Posted October 20, 2006 I agree wtih all of the above - you can't afford to lose FWP at this stage, Green is too risky....

redshirtrookie 0 Posted October 21, 2006 the trade is fair, but how youre even thinkin about it is beyon me. FWP is your #1 RB. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246258
Ray_T 753 Posted October 21, 2006 the trade is fair, but how youre even thinkin about it is beyon me. FWP is your #1 RB. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246258 He's right. based on value, the trade is good. maybe even slightly lopsided in your favour as I feel Brees will keep playing well, while Alex Smith will have his bad games still. however: you will have no #1 RB if you make this deal, and based on this, the trade makes no sense. if you had another stud RB then this trade makes sense, but what do you have? Seriously... if Green remains out of the lineup, you could possibly have no starting RB, and that will not cut it. bail on this trade and find one that makes more sense for your team
himmystyles 30 Posted October 21, 2006 I think FWP is too good to give up there. Chad hasn't done anything spectacular thus far.. thanks for answering mine.
