GiantsRule 0 Posted January 1, 2007 This might be the stupidest bet I made all year, and yeah, I might be chasing. But G Tech can't stop the run. WV needs to make some adjustments in the second half. Betting reckless here... West Virginia 2nd H (-7)@-105 for 6 units Going with a worse chase. Laying very heavy chalk on: 2H W. Virg-G. Tech Over 24.5 (-145)
t.j 35 Posted January 1, 2007 Steve Slaton's injury focked a lot of people. Including myself in my college bowl fantasy league, he was my 1st-round pick. Also, I forgot how much West Virginia's defense sucks...
gummo_dude 0 Posted January 1, 2007 Nice comeback by WVU. They definitely have the momentum now.

GiantsRule 0 Posted January 1, 2007 Holy FOCK!!!! West Virginia is up by 3. Ugh, I have no comment. Right. No comment. I know what you want to say and I know you want to bring out that fvcking dancing banana. Just let the game take its course. The fact that it's this close is a gift enough. Just DON'T say it!!! Skinny_Bastard 157 Posted January 1, 2007 That Arkansas vs Wis game is gonna go right down to the wire. WV speed on both side of the ball is starting to show.

Skinny_Bastard 157 Posted January 1, 2007 That was a huge penalty by WV. They were started to milk the clock on the ground.
GiantsRule 0 Posted January 1, 2007 That was a huge penalty by WV. They were started to milk the clock on the ground. Which is why the original WV has no shot for any of us (only if you have the 2nd half or you teased them).

Skinny_Bastard 157 Posted January 1, 2007 Which is why the original WV has no shot for any of us (only if you have the 2nd half or you teased them). That was close..White went out in the 2 yard line...he could had easily went in.
phillybear 366 Posted January 1, 2007 I bailed my ass out with WV in the 2nd H. Still... I am sorry if I led anybody wrong for the horrible call on WV this game. They came out unprepared, the GT backup QB killed them with his passing, and WV just couldn't complete the rally to cover. Hopefully Boise St makes up for it. I am debating a possible Boise 1st H bet, for what it's worth.
GiantsRule 0 Posted January 1, 2007 That was close..White went out in the 2 yard line...he could had easily went in. No he couldn't have. No chance of that. Here's what I don't understand though: If a team is only down three, and your opponent is trying to run the clock down so you don't get the ball back, why in the world wouldn't that team let the opponent score the TD forcing a kickoff? Yes, it would have helped out our bet, but logically, why doesn't this happen more often?
ROCKET 0 Posted January 1, 2007 2-1 so far, damn UWV couldn't run that last play in. I should have known, their defense has sucked all year and Ball's replacement looked like an upgrade. Oh well, riding Michigan vs USC. I've been thinking USC and the pac 10 have been over-rated all year but it sucks betting against them in their own back yard. phillybear 366 Posted January 1, 2007 Adding: Boise St 1st H (+3.5) for 3 units I know I am throwing around units today like M&Ms, but I hate to think I could be that wrong about two big plays. Boise should be able to surprise Okl right off the bat. If I am wrong again, my suckness will be without limits. I am completely pissed off about WV. That is going to eat away at me for a while. GiantsRule 0 Posted January 1, 2007 I have the Over in the Rose Bowl right now and it's a 3-3 game at the half. Need some TDs!!! I'm all-defeated today. Fvck college ball. Had I listened to everyone that told me to cash out when I was up huge, I'd be all set. But no. I was going to clean up during Bowl season. I'm so disgusted, I don't think I even want to bet on the NFL playoffs.

I was going to clean up during Bowl season. I'm so disgusted, I don't think I even want to bet on the NFL playoffs. I feel you man. I was up pretty big heading into Sunday. I decided to go for some big bucks with some two pick parlays on Sunday...lost three straight parlays. Decided to drop a three spot parlay today...and, get this, lost EVERY pick of the parlay (over UT/PSU, Neb. +2.5 and Arky/Wisc over). Talk about a cold streak. I would like to bet Boise tonight but with the beating I've taken it's pretty dangerous at this point. I'm like you, I don't even want to bet anything right now. It just aint fun losing this much money. I would like to say I hate college bowls, but I'll be betting the motherfvckers again next year. If I see Pete Caroll, I am going to beat his fvcking a$$. That USC team cost me big this year motherfvckers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
phillybear 366 Posted January 2, 2007 At this point, the nation can say *WHEW* in that Michigan is not playing in the national title game. Wow, I didn't think they were this bad. But USC is making them look silly. Brutal.
ROCKET 0 Posted January 2, 2007 Strictly from a betting standpoint I could see USC was the play. Everyone on Michigan, I just was convinced Michigan was the better team. That's obviously not true. Now I'm starting to wonder about how good OSU really is? You'd have to think after tonight the line would drop? I'm 9-11 for bowls, 2-2 today. It's probably my worst bowl season ever and close to my worst year overall if I don't rebound in the NFL playoffs. Look like I'm giving back all my winnings from last year. I'll go with Boise tonight for a minimal wager. My first NFL playoff bet I'm taking the Jets +8.5 points. Seems like a lot to me in what I see as a close game. Being a Pats homer I hope I'm wrong. GiantsRule 0 Posted January 2, 2007 I can't believe that game went over. Holy crap. Still, I chased a prop play in the late game. Wouldn't have done that if I thought I had a prayer of salvaging anything today.
phillybear 366 Posted January 2, 2007 Well, Boise St jumped out to a 14-0 lead. Nice start. Long way to go. Just concentrating on that 1st H bet, trying to eek it out. Oklahoma is likely to wake up soon, and not let Boise push them around like this. They will probably rally quickly with a score.
GiantsRule 0 Posted January 2, 2007 Fvcking degenerate that I am. Noticed this game had live-betting, so I jumped on Boise State-Oklahoma Over 57. Even with the Okie TD, I still need another 37 points (5 TDs and a FG). I already had my one miracle with the USC-Michigan Over so I don't know if it's wise to expect it to happen again. I'm more pissed I passed on the Iglesias prop (over 3 receptions for +180). He's already got 2!
phillybear 366 Posted January 2, 2007 Very solid 1st H, Boise up 21-10. I'll be sweating out the 2nd half of the game while fighting off sleep. Good night.
GridIronAssassin#1 0 Posted January 2, 2007 Anyone looking at the second half line here? Oklahoma -7 , total 24.
GiantsRule 0 Posted January 2, 2007 Anyone looking at the second half line here? Oklahoma -7 , total 24.5 Considering buying back my totals play (over 57). I've already been burned twice today with games that looked to go over (Nebraska-Arkansas with 28 at halftime and 31 for the game; Wisconsin with 21 at halftime and 31 for the game.) I'm sitting with just 31 points and needing 27 points for the cash. Can grab Under 25.5 (-105) which will effectively cancel the bet unless the total is exactly 25 (in which case I just lose my original bet.) Screw it. Just bought it back. Such a fvcking pansy. Now watch this soar into the 60s.
