I think its a good pick up for Atlanta. At least now they'll have someone who can actually catch the Football.

Getting it to him is another question.

No more excuses for Vick. Horn is a legit #1 WR to go along with his safety net Crumpler.

Far be it from me to defend Vick, but you have to admit that Horn being 35 years old is a bit of a caveat.

I'm sure one of their younger receivers can carry him down the field.

Horn a legit #1 wide receiver ha. I'm sure he has the db's so scared about his incredible speed and quick burst they will play off him 10 yards every play.

Michael Jenkins was doing just fine with his 39 for 436 and 7 td's.

With Vick at QB, they don't need a 35 year old WR. They need a 35 foot tall WR.

Only Joe Horn knows the real Joe Horn.

I was speaking about the man's charitable work here in town. His character, well, you're right.

Joe Horn has never done anyhting to question his character as far as I know of. He did alot of charity work regarding Katrina as well ! Is he an ghetto rat ###### personally - who knows.

Vick needs a speedster to throw bombs to who would go get em ! ! ! The focked up by not going after R. Moss as Moss might of actually done great in Atlanta. Other than a blind bomb Vick is not going to do anyone anyhting as a passer. He is really dangerous as a runner which forces teams to change their entire scheme when playing Atlanta. He will never be more than a slightly below average passer at greatest but he still can win due to fact he changes they way teams have to play them as much as he does.

Joe Horn -- 50 catches 800 yards 5 TD's IF healthy all season

likley - 35 catches 500 yards 3 scores. 5 games missed due to hammy issues.

If healthy and Shaub starts - 80 catches 1100 yards and 8 scores.

His hands and routes are better but he's slower now than who they had/have. I dont think Horn has a lot left. However this is a decent signing as Atlanta hasnt had a legit starting quality proven veteran wide receiver in years. Just haveing Horn around the younger guys is a good thing whether he produces much or not. Signing the 35 yo indicates to me they could continue the trend of burning one of their first draft picks on a WR.

I am stunned with this signing.

Horn is like 49 years old with a bag of injuries the last few season. I am not liking how this offseason has gone.
