Weight lifting

Recommended Posts

I haven't lifted for about a year and a half. When I did, I had good results with protein drinks, Monhydrated Creatine, and NO2, though I had to lay off the creatine for a week or two when I started the NO2. The makers of NO2 were coming out with a new creatine that could be stacked. Anyone here familiar with stacking NO2, and CE2, and can a 46 yearold handle it??

Are you preparing for an event or involved in a sport that these supplements will help? A bench press contest? The local football team? What?

If not...and you are beyond "competition" age...ask yourself "What's the point?"

So, you take creatine, NO2, etc.....and you gain some "good weight", your lifts go up, you have a great pump....so then what?

Are you ever going to quit taking those supplements? You are? So then, three weeks after you finish taking them, and much of the results directly caused by them are gone, are you going to look back and say "Ahhhh...that was well worth it."

?

 To the guy above me. Some people like looking good. If you take creatine only, its true you have to cycle off if it once in a while, but its not like you'll shrivel up. You'll lose a lil mass, but it won't be so much to the point everyone will wonder what happened to you.

Don't pay for any supplement trash except for creatine. All that other sh1t is useless. Especially anything made by muscletech. You'll probably get a lot of advice here but i would just recommend going and joining the bodybuilding.com or muscleandfitness.com message boards. You'll be able to find out the best plan in regards to cardio, weight lifting, diet, and supplementation. You have to balance all of them.

I used creatine a few years back, but it gave me some nasty gas. I'd be doing squats and it was like a g0ddamn horn section warming up. In the end I had to give it up...

I need more input. The NO2 worked great last time and I really added inches to my chest. My concern is stacking the CE2 at my age. Is that a problem?? After about 2 weeks with the NO2 you feel constantly pumped.

sure,

mix them all in 1 big mixing bowl, then add in some butter. mix around, preheat your oven to 350 degress, and bake until golden brown

Anybody have a link to a creatine website or something??? I have been lifting for a while, but, it's getting to where i am not gaining as much anymore, i kinda want to stay away from all that suppliment stuff, but, i guess taking one wouldn't be too bad if it works.

Creatine Monohydrate has become obsolete. The "new" thing is Creatine Ethyl Ester.

Here's a link to information and pricing.

In my opinion, and I've been lifting for twenty years, creatine and whey protein are the only "must haves" for a weightlifter. Obviously, you can make gains without using any supplementation, but these two are essential if you want to maximize your efforts.

I've been hearing alot about Nitrous Oxide. It's supposed to give you tremendous pumps and great energy for your workouts. I haven't tried it yet, though.

I gave NO2 a try and I was quite impressed with the pump you get but it's a vasodialator and being a whitey of a european grab bag decent, I actually developed symptoms of Rosacea (flushing of the face). It got to the point where it wouldn't go away until I ended taking NO2 all together.

It does work but with all things there can be side effects.

I am just finishing XYIENCE that is promoted by the UFC.

It lasts about 6 weeks. It have three different types of Argenine (NO2), Glutamine, and Creatine.

I'm waiting to see how things go once I'm off it for a while but I am really impressed so far about how

my training has gone. I don't get the rushy feeling I had with other creatine and no sick gas or craps.

It's a little pricier than other stuff but again it lasts for 6 weeks, it dissolves nicely and doesn't taste bad at all.

I've had some really nice gains on it and like I said I'm just waiting to see what happens when I go off it. At 46 though I don't think I would recommend anything that raises your heartbeat and blood pressure.

make sure you lock your knees, hold your breath, and jerk the weights whenever possible.

You can get similar results, but they take longer. Again, when you cycle off of creatine, you'll lose a little bit of size, but the user will probably be the only one to notice a small amount of mass loss. And there'll be little strength loss.

NO2 is expensive and i wouldn't recommend that but protein is cheap. Haven't looked at creatine too much but i don't think its too bad. But you always have to "maintain." If you do it the "natural" way, as soon as you stop working out, you'll lose muscle. Nobody works out for 2 years and if they're satisfied, they stop. Maybe they'll go less often to "maintain," but you do that whether or not you take supplements.

But yea, the best advice i can give you is to join a weight lifting message board. Nobody on here knows sh1t about NO2, creatine, BCAA's, all that stuff. Join a message board, read around, and if you have any questions that aren't already posted, ask your own.

I've been reading about cell mass, does that really work?? Any side effects?? I am thinking about buying that and like you said Whey protein. I was working out with some people today who couldn't believe i don't use anything, but, i haven't been gaining a lot the past 4-5 months. First i got to cut about 20lbs, then i will be pretty cut, but, i am sure i can get really big and cut using some suppliments.
