fastfish 0 Posted April 7, 2007 Born into a world of Roman oppression and occupation, Jesus came with a message of God's all-conquering love. His ministry was not just for his people and his time but for all of humanity and for all time: follow the spiritual path even unto your own death...because death is not the end of life. Living your days in this spirit and with this knowledge is the joy of Christian freedom. Death, where is thy sting? It is a wonderful daily walk with Christ. We are saved by faith. Jesus allowed himsef to be tortured and killed by those who knew not what they were doing, by example leading us to glory. With his final words from the Cross being those of forgiveness towards his murderers, Jesus gave us the most profound message of God's love, a message that has changed the world and changed hearts unto this day. He is with us always, even unto the end of time. Happy Easter.

frank 2,296 Posted April 7, 2007 Born into a world of Roman oppression and occupation, Jesus came with a set of stories he made up that would eventually be turned into a very bad idea. His ministry was not just for his people and his time but for all of humanity and for all time: believe these lame stories so you will feel better about dying. Living your days in this spirit and with this knowledge is the way to avoid being shunned by the brain-dead morons running your town. Death, where is thy sting? It is a wonderful daily walk with Christ. We are mislead by faith. Jesus was killed by mean jackasses. We have no fukking idea what his last words were because it was approximately 2000 years ago and noone had a tape recorder. Shockingly, people still let themselves be guided by myth and superstition. Happy Easter. Fixed

IGotWorms 4,058 Posted April 8, 2007 I was supposed to go out with this chick tonight, but she canceled because she has to go to a three hour Mass instead (on Saturday night!) on account of Easter. So how lame is that? Should I just blow her off, or keep pursuing in the hopes that she is secretly a dirty, nasty freak?
