14 team ppr lague

Tom Brady, NE

Joseph Addai, Ind

Thomas Jones, NYJ

Adrian Peterson, Min

Marion Barber, Dal

Laverneus Coles, NYJ

Jerricho Cotchery, NYJ

Muhsin Muhammad, Chi

Ronald Curry, Oak

Brandon Jones, Ten

Greg Olsen, Chi

Matt Stover, Bal

Kansas City

i got a lot of fockin jets on my team, but they seemed to be the best value when I was picking. With 14 teams in the league and my depth at RB, hopefully I'll be able to swing a deal somehow where I can land a better WR by shipping off a RB/ WR combo

also, there are 13 roster spots, yet 3 frickin teams picked up backup TEs. WTF? I got Olsen in the last round, but some guys will have to be dropping some TEs after bye weeks have passed I would think.

I also didn't like the talent at WR with my 3rd pick, and this league penalizes for INTs and Sacks, so I took a flyer on brady thinking he is in for a big year.

Thoughts?

Your WR's absolutely blow.

I like Barber, I actually think he will be the starter sometime during the season. Everytime I watch a Cowboy game, he just seems so obviously better than Jones. He must suck at pass blocking or something because I never understoon why he wasn't starting.

Thomas Jones will be good if he stays healthy, but that isn't looking good right now. If this Achillies/Calf thing goes on, it could be a pain. Addai will be solid.

Olsen will be solid.

I could probably land a solid WR if I dealt MBIII and Coles or Cotchery.

Then I'd like my team more than I currently do...

I'll give you a pass on the WR, but your RBs are paper thin. Right now your whole season is riding on Thomas Jones.

I give a rating of THE SUCK!

when you have 14 teams in your league, almost all the teasm suck. Nobody has a strong starting lineup accross the board. That's why I loaded up on RBs, I didn't want to be weak at the RB position.

Here's all the other teams RBs:

Tomlinson

Jordan

Chester Taylor

S Jackson

J Lewis

Droughns

L Johnson

B Jacobs

Anthony Thomas

Michael Bennett

Alexander

Mike Bell

Kevin Faulk

Julius Jones

R Brown

Portis

Michael Turner

Your RB's have good potential. It may take a while to figure out who to start but I think you will have 2 good ones out of that group. Adrian Peterson could eventually emerge behind that big line. I don't like your receivers. 2 jets-->If pennington has a bad game you are in trouble. Kansas City Defense? Olsen has looked good but the Bears have not passed a lot to their tight ends. Maybe that will change. Stover - good, Brady - very good.

Only if CT gets hurt. Even then, well see how AP handles games 12-16 which are hellish for rookies. If I had your lineup, I would be making a play for Taylor. I would also see what the Julius Jones owner would give me for Barber.

yeah the thing that scares me with KC's d, is that you get points for pts allowed, neg points if they allow a lot of points (28+)

But I think the defense is going to be good this year and keep them in games, and I see the Chiefs trying to control the clock and slow games down. Chiefs 1st team D has been pretty successful thus far int he preseason. I also like the potential with the playmakers on defense for sacks and turnovers. All 8 home games should have Hali and Allen coming off the ends (allen's 2 game suspension comes in road games), and with the loudness factor at arrowhead I see the potential for quite a few sacks.

Like I said, I don't really care for my receivers either. But I'm just a RB injury in the league away from being in a good position to try and deal.

And there are a couple guys like Bo Scaife on the waiver for TEs, so I'm not concerned about Olsen, and I do think somebody will have to drop a TE sometime. Why in the world would you carry 2 TEs when you only have 4 bench spots in this league?

I just went 1 QB, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D and got 2 extra WRs and 2 extra RBs. I'll deal with my bye issues later.

I like your RBs. The vast majority of the NFL is RBBC this year and IMO you have some of the top RBBC guys. I think Peterson and/or Barber could give you a big second half.

As noted, you have issues at WR...although, I'm not sure how big of an issue, as you didn't say whether you dress 2 or 3 WRs each week. Between Coles and Cotchery, I like Cotchery this year. I think he will catch as many, if not more, balls than Coles. Plus, you will get a better return if you trade Coles.

Muhammad worries me a bit this year. He's getting on in years and CHI has many options in the passing game. They now have two pass catching TEs and a glut of WRs (including getting guys like Hester more involved.) I'm a little worried that there won't be enough balls to go around in that O...especially if they struggle at QB and once the wintery weather comes.

As for the KC D...if you lose points for points against, you need to find another option. With the QB situation, no WR threats (other than Gonzo at TE) and the fact that Herm Edwards isn't a coach, but rather a really ugly cheerleader, there will be many turnovers and 3 and outs.

In general, you need to diversify your team. Too many Jets and too many Bears.

Oh yeah...and just stay in bed for week 10, as both NE and the Jets are on a bye that week.

start 3 WRs, and I'm not worried about the bye week but i did notice it. I'll either figure something out or just take a loss. I don't mind being short a week if it means I have a full roster the other 15 weeks.

I have the same philosophy. I don't pay attention to the bye work during the draft. If I have one terrible bye week then it just means the rest of the season I will be in great shape.

5-1, scored the most points again out of the league this week, lead the entire league in ttoal points.

Brady is the top scorer, and has outscored #2 (Romo) by almost 40 points.

Still in pretty good shape at RB, I havent made any trades and still sit with the corp group of my team. I have added Crayton off waivers and dumped Muhammad.

Stover is solid and Chiefs D has been a solid pick as well. Both are on a bye next week, if Addai is back I will probably pickup a kicker for the week.

And then week 10 I'll still be out Brady Coles & Cotchery, maybe then I can pickup a QB for the week even though I'll be short 1 WR

:dunno:
