Don't worry. I just emptied 14 old spray paint cans that had Chloro-fluorocarbons in them to counteract any "good" that they attempted with that halftime show.

Considering that you have "idiot" in your name, I would say that this is a classic "Pot/Kettle" moment.

I have made exactly one post in this thread and I used a word that had more than two syllables. Does that make me a "huffer"?

my name has a lot more than 5 letters in it, but leave it to the simpleton neanderthals to only latch onto one segment of it :pointstosky:

its like a casting call for 'gorillas in the mist' up in this piece :pointstosky:

The first 5 letters say "idiot". Until you come up with something that is not arrogant or pompous, I will have to think that is representative of your abilities. Sorry the that truth hurts, but as someone whose name escapes me now stated recently, "it is what it is". :pointstosky:

If you believe in global warming (I believe it is occurring, however, man has little to do with it), it doesn't really make sense to fly reporters all over the world to report on the "problem". The amount of carbon emissions produced by flying reporters to the arctic and antarctic greatly exacerbates the problem (again, if you believe that carbon emissions cause the earth to warm, which I do not).

do you want a medal because you realize that the letters i-d-i-o-t spell idiot?

seriously.

5 bucks if you can figure out what the rest of the nickname idiotekniQues means, but it might take you awhile. it has many, 1 was the word idiot, it was one of the secondary meanings cause like most people, i can be an idiot sometimes and i acknowledge that, however,

if you were kiddin about dissin nbc for tryin to do something relatively positive during their sports coverage and just tryin to be funny, that is wonderful.

otherwise, i merely responded with joking retort about your spraycan comment that got your panties all in a bunch.

If you can't take a retort, then why give one. Sounds like you need to lighten up a little, Francis.

Leave these sort of shenanigans to the Today Show. Doing it on a NFL studio show just makes it look silly.

Global warming ? Climate Change ? Last time I looked, it's called Summer.

I don't understand why people, who happen to vote republican, refuse to imagine that global warming is a possibility.

It's OK to be unsure, you know?

Just because george bush said it wasn't true - doesn't mean he's correct. That douche will say anything to push his oil-pumping agenda. Can't everyone see that?

It's not a republican/democrat thing - it's an entire human race thing. Agree or disagree - but downing anyone just for trying to educate the public about it, is just ridiculous.

It doesn't have anything to do with being Republican. Just stick to the damn football game. It's that simple.

I care very little about politics, but if you're going to make this stance that they should be open to more ideas, then you yourself should also be open to their views and not force them to believe something they don't want to believe. I think this has very little to do with football and should all be taken to CNNs al gore forums :

Last night I turned on all my lights, appliances and faucets. This morning I still have power and water. We are ok.

Earth is still slowly coming out of an ice age. Our contribution, which may exist, to global warming, which exists naturally, is insignificant

I simply ignored the underlying message and focused on the best message: save energy when you can. It'll save you money and, of course, save the energy!

What impact it has/doesn't have on the allegation that the earth is going soon burst into flames because of global warming matters not to me.

It is a Democat liberal BS agenda. 25 + years ago it was the ice age is coming; now, Uncle Al, The High Priest of the Chrich of Global Warming, tell us are melting the planet. :(

I'll be right back; I have to go fill up my Hummer and then catch a private jet. :dunno:

The humorous irony of all of that bunk last night was them soon thereafter showing a lit-up Phillies stadium (not in use)... a lit-up hockey arena (not in use)... a lit up Franklin Field that looked like it was being used by 12 people for a pick-up soccer game... a lit up Spectrum which may or may not have been in use last night.

Quality!

The pressure for 'saving the world' from global warming will be on the good ol' US of A. However it's China that's been causing most of the problems with their economy ramping up and sucking up an increasing total of the world's global resources. Yet little or no pressure will be placed on the Chinese to 'go green'

First of all, global warming definitely is real, and it definitely is being caused by human activity. Anyone who looks at non-partisan reports and research can see that plainly. I'm glad that they're at least trying to do something that raises awareness.

But on the other hand, all they did was turn off three lights in their studio. I noticed the Toyota logo under the desk was still nice and well-lit. And I also noticed that they used about three million lights to show Matt Lauer and his ghey little segment in the Arctic. What the hell was the point of that? So he absolutely had to be in the Arctic to talk about global warming for three minutes? Was he hoping to see a glacier melt or something? How much jet fuel and electricity did they use to get their whole crew up to the Arctic to do that retarded segment?

Oh, and I guess they're going to keep the lights off next week too, right? And for the rest of the year? And next season, and the season after that? Because it's the right thing to do.

If they want to do something that will really have an impact, they should ask their audience to all turn off their TV's during their stupid little halftime show.

Bottomline: It's not a football thing.

FWIW, please try to pay attention. GWB believes in it.

I have zero problems with environmentalism unto itself. But when anyone tries to tell me they know the answer to the questions surrounding global warming/cooling...and oh by the way, want to restrict my freedoms b/c they have all the answers and I don't. Well they (Al Gore, UN, GWB) can go f-themselves.
