Anybody else see the halftime show? They turned the lights out to conserve energy and sat there with candles in the near dark. Said this would conserve enough energy to power a house for a month. I'm all for conservation but ... isn't electricity a renewable resource? And did anyone else think it was kind of showy and queer to turn the lights off? I mean, if everybody watching SNF just turned their focking TVs off and read a book or something that would save a lot of energy too, right?

Ghey.

You'd think they could afford some carbon offsets. Are the ratings that bad?

overall, a bad idea.....

lets see...teams playing poorly...at home...vs a hated rival and TO is ripping it up...

i know...we'll shut the lights off!! :wall:

im sure phily's finest were proud of THAT idea....

they said that the eagles cheerleaders ran on to the field and had lesbian sex....

reids boys were out on the field smoking bongs and rolling doobies...

cons escaped the jail...

kids were knocked up....moms were raped....concession stands were robbed....they even said 2 guys were tag teaming santa...1 up the chimney and the other giving a teabag sack full of goodies.... :pointstosky:

do this in cleveland and there'd have been a litter of crap thrown onto the field....

if this was in indy...they probably wouldve accidentally hit the fake crowd noise button instead...why are they cheering? uh..ooops...

if that had happened here...id have definitely talked my gal into giving me a bj or a handjob....

only to have the lights come back on and finding out that shes been gone for 20 minutes getting beers....wtf?

Ummmm, I hate to break this to you but electricity is not a renewable resource. It all depends how you generate it ( nuclear, fossil fuels (petroleum, natural gas, etc), dams etc.) in order to figure out how damaging it is to the environment to create the electricity.
