swirvenirvin 25 Posted December 29, 2007 Fock. Spartys left at least 6 point on the field with those red zone turnovers which would give us a 16-14 game. They're a pretty good 2nd half team though so they should still cover IMO. Good luck!! Cover?? Want a win There will be at least one trick play from Dantonio
Yer mom 2 Posted December 29, 2007 Cover?? Want a win There will be at least one trick play from Dantonio That would work! Wont happen unless Dantonio starts calling some high percentage pass plays to get Hoyer in a rythem. Fock. Just as I type.....INT Unreal.
Yer mom 2 Posted December 29, 2007 No time for a write up, watching the end of the Mich St/BC game. Maryland +5 Good luck!!

I think he's setting up the trick off of that direct snap. Look for Ringer throwing the ball, or the WR throwing off the reverse handoff out of that formation. greyhounds 0 Posted December 29, 2007 College Bowls YTD: 5-3; +1.5 units Friday TCU (-6) for 4 units Quickly... Houston lost nearly all their offensive coaches to Baylor recently, and supposedly the offensive coordinator tonight is the Houston defensive backs coach. I don't know how Houston can get up for this game with the mass exodus. This is not a good omen for a purely offensive team. The Houston defense is pretty bad. TCU is highly ranked defensive team which matches up very well with Houston. These teams have played each other frequently in recent years, with TCU winning the last 7 matchups. Houston played an easy schedule and didn't beat anybody. TCU lost to several highly thought of bowl teams, won confortably over bad teams, like Houston. I'll take TCU to blow out this bad Houston team. A good team from a good conference playing a bad team from a lousy conference. Good luck to all. Philly Bear....I really believe that Houston is the Play, but, it looks like most are with You! Go Houston !!!
phillybear 366 Posted December 29, 2007 Houston has crossed into TCU territory once tonight, on the 65 yard bomb. TCU has been in Houston territory about 4 times so far, and have only 1 score. Just missing open WRs, stupid penalties. TCU has to pull its head out of its ass and start to pull away. So frustrating watching this game.

Grind 0 Posted December 29, 2007 "Pro style" Quarterback Big, strong, can throw across his body, blah blah blah. He'll blow at the next level I third this motion. This is the third time I have watched him and all three times I just don't see it. I think this is a guy that is benefiting from a very weak QB draft. Teams are going to force the issue and take him way higher then he should go simply because he is a QB and arguebaly the best albiet in a very, very weak class. Third round talent, if you ask me. The stress, the frustration, the drinking....yet, TCU pulled it out 20-13. I'm still sweating my ass off. This was my biggest play so far this year in college football, and I suspect I will have a couple of other plays over 3 units the rest of the bowl season. But, for now, a sigh of relief, and on to the Saturday games. College Bowls YTD: 6-3; +5.5 units

Yer mom 2 Posted December 29, 2007 No time for a write up, watching the end of the Mich St/BC game. Maryland +5 Good luck!! Thanks for the wide left chip shot field goal diick Not racist, but me thinks its the first black field goal kicker mes ever seen. I couldnt figure out why they ran a WR out there to kick
phillybear 366 Posted December 29, 2007 College Bowls YTD: 6-3; +5.5 units Saturday U Conn (Moneyline@+110) for 6 units Still debating the later games. WF is seeing 53% of the action. Getting ballsy with my plays. UConn gains 5.1 yards per play vs teams that allow 5.2 ypp UConn allows 5.0 ypp vs teams that allow 5.1 ypp WF gains 4.6 ypp vs teams that allow 5.3 ypp WF allows 4.7 ypp vs teams that allow 5.2 ypp I think the overall numbers show me that UConn is the better team. While WF made a living on defense by forcing 34 turnovers, U Conn only turned it over 14 times all year. U Conn was 5-2 ATS as a dog this year, and I feel they are the better team. I think they win, with comfort, so I took the moneyline odds.
Yer mom 2 Posted December 29, 2007 College Bowls YTD: 6-3; +5.5 units Saturday U Conn (Moneyline@+110) for 6 units Dude thats like, more units than ive ever seen you do. It's a very strong gut feeling play. U Conn brings more motivation into this game. And I keep waiting for more dogs to win outright during these bowls, as East Carolina is the only one to pull it off so far.
KingofBeer 0 Posted December 29, 2007 I took UConn and got 3 points...but the -130 is a bit painful I also took Central Florida -3 and Penn St. -5.5.
JT 137 Posted December 29, 2007 Bowl Season: ATS 2-5 SU 5-2 Guys, I'm so cold it's almost beyond comprehension, but here's what I've got: Michigan State +5.5 vs Boston College: WINNER TCU -4.5 vs Houston: WINNER Maryland +5.5 vs Oregon State: LOSER Good luck to all! Bowl Season: ATS 4-6 SU 7-3 Still creeping toward mediocrity, but the TCU game was by far my biggest play of the bowls and righted the ship financially. I'm planning on killing the Maryland FG "kicker". UConn +3 vs Wake Forest: Mirror image teams, in that neither one is likely to run away from anyone. Conservative on offense, solid on defense. I like UConn's offensive mix, and think they're the team with more incentive here. Mississippi State +3.5 vs Central Florida: Neither will do much to stop the other, and I don't see UCF being much more motivated than MSU. Give me the bigger, stronger players. Looks like a shootout to me. Good luck to all!

And I keep waiting for more dogs to win outright during these bowls, as East Carolina is the only one to pull it off so far. Yeah its well overdue, and why not a team whos only a 2 point dog and matches up well Three dogs today for me. Going to bet all the fights tonight but not sure which side to bet on yet. I love the value in Hughes, getting +160? Wow! Keep in mind that Hughes was supposed to fight Serra who had to back out because of a herniated disc so St Pierre accepted the fight and has had just over a month to prepare, Hughes has been ready for much longer. St Pierre won their last fight but Hughes won the first, Hughes is no dummy, there is NO way that Hughes is going to try and stand up with him again, he'll take him to the floor where he has in my opinion a big advantage. Also, St Pierre has been talking a little too much garbage saying that he plans on winning the fight in under a minute.....doubtful. I dont want to sound too overconfident about it though and entice you into a possible loser because St Pierre is definately the better fighter. Good luck either way though TD UConn Good luck!! phillybear 366 Posted December 29, 2007 U Conn up 10-0 at the half. So far, so good. But I still feel nervous about this game. U Conn is playing some fantastic defense. I hope they can keep it up in the 2nd H. They are so close to getting a sack on so many plays, but keep whiffing as Skinner is sliding around in the pocket like a greased up eel. Need to be able to find more consistency on offense, as one long run and a punt return just isn't good enough. Need more sustained drives. But I'm not complaining.
